+ The location is great. Close to all the important spots in Tashkent. The staff are attentive and really nice. The hotel also has some stores to buy local products. There is also a coffee shop which is great.

− The gym can be better. The beds could also be more comfortable.

Not a good value for money and should be much cheaper for what if offers

+ The location was alright and the staff was kind amd polite

− The rooms are small and with dirty carpets (looking wet or moldy) amd the safe was not fixed so anyone could just put the safe in a suitcase and take it! So i didn’t feel confortable leaving my money and passport in that safe! (I checked other rooms and they were the same), i chose it because it was a wyndham and i excepted much better paying this much (over 80€ per room per night) it was a disappointment especially after i paid less than 40€ for much better hotels in other cities in Uzbekistan.

Absolutely fine for a city trip, good swimming pool for hot days

+ Friendly and efficient staff, large pool, great breakfast, room ok although you can feel it is a relative old buildig

− Service at the pool bar at times a bit slow and uninspired

Staff at an international hotel chain should have better training.

+ It was where I wanted to be based in Tashkent. Spacious room, good in-room facilities, and also a late-ish check out time of 12noon.

− In an international hotel, I expected the staff to be better trained. It was rare to get a smile from any member of staff. On arriving at the restaurant for lunch, staff continued to chat among themselves and ignored me. When finally being shown to a table, two continued to gossip among themselves and were moody and unwelcoming. The one exception was a polite, courteous and efficient waiter when I had dinner. Reception staff were ignorant (or claimed to be) that Bus 67 goes from outside the hotel direct to the international airport. Instead they suggested (four times) to arrange a taxi. FYI Bus info: (cost: too cheap to mention - less than $1, tap on with your card, bus is A/C, look up live info on Yandex)

Very Good

+ Reception staff Asliddin amazing! Bell boy the same. Great service. Pleasant atmosphere. Room, yes needs updating like the bathroom but all is working and in order. Small pool area with beds and seating.

− Restaurant Opera is not the best of quality. Dry fish, tasteless prawns etc. Service took long. Breakfast room needs a good coffee machine but for the rest all is present.

Very Good

+ Location is good and comfortable. We could walk around easily and 24x7 supermarket just 5 minutes. Restaurant within hotel also good with elaborated menu and reasonable price.

− We had early checkout at 23:00PM on 22nd August. Person at reception had too poor communication skills and generated lot of misunderstandings. There was nobody to move our stuff from reception to taxi and when taxi arrived, a hotel staff appeared and stood close to cab. We had to literally bed him to put our heavy stuff in cab.

Decent hotel, some minor glitches

+ Very comfortable, short walk to the old town, large pool, decent gym, great breakfast, helpful guest relations

− Some staff not on the ball at check in. No one ensures that families supervise their young children at the pool

− At nights when guests are checking out i believe, extremely noisy! Need to inform them to respect other guests. Also better to remove the rug or clean it, as it keeps smells.. heavy smell in the room.
