Don't stay here at this price – this is not a 4-star hotel, but a budget 2–3-star one

+ Breakfast was filling, the samsa was excellent and the traditional sweets were tasty. If you ask reception for something, they bring it. That's about it.

− I spent six nights here on a business trip, and honestly, I've never had such a stressful hotel stay. Safety – a real red flag. The smoke detectors in my room were covered – one with plastic film, the other with burnt paper (photos attached). In case of fire, they simply wouldn't work. And when my key card failed for the second time, the receptionist just handed me a master key to all rooms, asking me "not to go into other rooms." Both are serious violations of basic safety rules. As a guest, this alarmed me more than anything else. No water. One morning before work there was no water at all – no shower, not even the toilet. I ended up washing my face from a bottle. Reception twice told me it was an accident in the whole district; later the hotel's own technicians admitted a breaker had tripped and the pumps had stopped. Cash payment. The staff don't just ask you to pay in cash – they insist on it, almost to the point of demanding. I explained several times that I wanted to pay by card, but they kept coming back to it and persuading me. It was very pushy and unpleasant. Bathroom. A tiny sink fixed tight against the wall, with a mirror and shelf hanging right above it. Washing your hands, let alone your face, without splashing water all over the bathroom and yourself is a real challenge – especially in a suit – and you keep bumping your head on the shelf. The shower has only a short glass screen, so the floor floods after every shower. Sleep. No sound insulation – you hear your neighbours talking. No air ventilation, so the window stays open: a canteen exhaust, cars and loud voices at night, and two roosters crowing from 4:30 a.m. Everything else. The bathroom floods after every shower because of a short screen. Staff kept pressing me to pay in cash. Towels and soap were taken and not replaced, there's no iron and no bathrobes. Every problem becomes the guest's job to chase.

+ Very friendly and helpful staff. We had to leave for the airport at 5 am, so we missed breakfast, but we got lovely lunchboxes with healthy food instead.

− No water hose in the bathroom, even though the room was at high standard with very clean and stylish bathroom.
