Please be advised that facade cleaning and painting works will be carried out at Village Hotel Bugis until 6 November, daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Good location but don't go when the F1 is in town.
+ The swiming pool was excellent and one of the reasons I chosse the hotel.
− Overall the hotel was good but because of the F1 happening the pricing was way above what the hotel was worth.

+ Our room had a really nice view over the narrow streets of Kampung Glam. And it was great to stay in such an interesting area. Not far from Bugis Station, so very convenient

Nice area, well connected and clean.
+ Location is excellent. Close to the metro blue and green line and to a very lively area with good restaurants and bars for dinner time. Good was also the proximity to a very good cafeteria (100% Arabica - just 3 min walking) for those who would like more western style type of breakfast :)
− I think facilities where a little old, but still all was working nicely.

+ The location of Village Hotel was very good, especially if you are planning to explore Singapore by MRT or local buses. It is conveniently located near public transport, making it easy to travel around the city and visit the main attractions.
− the stores inside the hotel were always closed during our stay, possibly because the hotel was undergoing renovation. Hopefully, these facilities will be available once the renovation is completed

Comfortable place to stay
+ Check in in very smooth and checking out staff very considerate and helpful. The hotel provided 2 access cards which can be very convenient. Luggage storage guys very friendly. There are 4 lifts serving the hotel and quite fast too. Breakfast is superb. Menu changes daily. Location just wonderful, just across the street and u can reach Masjid Sultan and Zam2 restaurant. LRT station just a block away.
