Enjoyed every moment of our stay
+ Everything was excellent. From the staff at the entrance, reception, restaurant, housekeeping, and spa, to the beautiful surroundings. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, the pool was great, and the location was perfect.

A wonderful place to stay in the skirts of mountains with great service and the best breakfasts.
+ The best breakfasts I've ever had in a hotel, also served on the 5th floor with amazing mountain view. Great spa zone with nice a hot sauna, all included. Also, enjoyed some massage sessions, highly recommend. Friendly and helpful staff. Great surroundings, 30 minutes walking or 5 by car to Medeu - pleasant walk. Fresh and nice air - much better than in city center.
− Some room facilitates were slightly worn (a shower leaked a bit), but overall the atmosphere was great! The bed was very comfy, slept like a child.

Quiet and peaceful stay. Great value for money.
+ I liked the location in the mountains but some may find it too isolated. There's a bus stop right outside so you can easily get in and out of the city within a few minutes and for practically nothing. Breakfast was great although slightly limited choices, everything was fresh though. Room was very spacious but everything felt a little tired and dated. Fittings in the bathroom felt like they were ready to fall off the wall! The restaurant is fine dining with top quality food. Prices obviously reflected this but no complaints given the standard.
− Nothing. The hotel ticked every box for me. I was looking for peace and quiet and I got it here.

A memorable retreat in the mountain
+ The room has old-fashioned decor and a balcony facing the beautiful autumn colors of the mountain. The breakfast is satisfying and has seating outside to admired the colors of the mountains. The sauna, steam room and swimming pool area is super nice with private locker, towels, bathrobes and drinking water. It is directly on the bus line to the mountain and to the city for some 25 cents per ride. It has the best combination of the mountain hiking area, 30-minute ride to the city and the spa treatment luxury.
− Breakfast could be served earlier, like 7 instead of 8.

Great Stay Close to Shymbulak, Friendly Staff
+ Pleasant stay, the staff members are friendly. The rooms have a great view of the mountains. I enjoyed the calm walks in the morning, most people can easily walk to Medeu (not with luggage) and do a cable car ride to Shymbulak. The breakfast selection was good too. The Samal restaurant was excellent and the lamb kebab was superb.
− The bathtub didn't work, but we didn't complain. I am sure they would have looked into it if we had.

Thoroughly enjoyed the property
+ Very clean and nice property - Spa, Restaurants, Mainly kids restaurant, Swimming pool and sauna as well
− If staff had a little better English communication it would have been slightly better. But no major compliant - we had a great stay
