A comfortable stay with great facilities and a good location, but a bit overpriced for what you get.

The beds were very comfortable, and the facilities were great! We loved that they provided little essentials like toothbrushes, cotton swabs, razors, and more. The location was excellent, with plenty of places within walking distance and an MRT station nearby. Despite being on a busy nightlife street, the noise was surprisingly manageable, even in our room facing the street. We could hear some bass, but it wasn’t too disturbing, especially with earplugs.

There was very little space to store our luggage, especially with our large backpacks. Lockers were available, but they weren’t big enough for us. We also found it quite expensive for what we got. It was Formula 1 weekend, which we weren’t aware of when booking, so that may have affected the price. Unfortunately, we didn’t feel it was good value for money.

The double rooms were so small for two people

Convinient, near to restaurant and public transport

Near to MRT and many restaurant, short walk away from everything.

The room i booked is quite different than in the picture in Booking.com, i felt misled.
The picture shows light coming in from the window. But in actual, the window is covered with wood or cardboard, making the room seem very dark and felt stuffy.
The lounge area is also very hot and aircond is not turn on. I had to contact customer service to turn on the aircond but the aircond temperature seems to be set at the highest, i dont feel any cooling at all.
If the owner wanted to save electricity, periodically turn on the aircond, keep it at comfortable temperature instead of turning it off entirely.

Short stay but expected more comfort for the amount charged

Friendly, near to Chinatown and city centre

Old. Common shower and toilets sometimes not clean. Everything felt small.. Feels not really secure and no privacy... Felt not safe when staying here... staff just came into room without knocking and without permission. Was a shock.
Did not feel like it was a hostel. Felt not professional as a proper simple hostel.
Would not recommend it.

I liked that the bed space was more spacious than other. The bathroom was also fairly clean. Considering the price, it was actually a pretty good stay.

The area has a lot of bars and adult nightlife, so I felt a little uneasy walking back alone at night, even though Singapore is generally very safe.

We found it really difficult to communicate with staff - it was all done via an AI chatbot and we never saw any staff around or sat behind reception. The social areas were very hot and the bathrooms were quite dirty. There was also very limited security for the hostel - no keys/keycard were used. People could enter the rooms from the street.
