− As a previous reviewer mentioned the fittings are indeed dated, but they were all fully functional.

Enjoyed our time at the hotel except for being woken up by the neighbours but would stay here again
+ The location is good and within an easy 150 m of the closest metro station. The room and bathroom although a little tired were completely acceptable for the price and the bed and pillows were really comfortable. The breakfast is truly excellent with an exceptionally wide selection of food both hot and cold to suit all tastes. As you cannot drink the tap water in Beijing, 6 x 350 ml of bottled water were replenished by the cleaning staff each day. Complimentary coffee and tee sachets were provided at the rooms tea station and were replenished each day.
− We had a room with an inter-leading door and the people in the room next door were very load waking us up whenever they came back at night. These inter-leading doors should be soundproofed because even when they spoke normally in the room next door we could hear virtually every word. I would suggest that you book a room without such a door !

Location and Breakfast as excellent. Rooms are very good
+ The staff were very courteous, helpful and tried to resolve our issues as soon as possible. Location is amazing with this property central to almost everything. Breakfast is outstanding.
− The bathroom shower was leaking water to the floor. Whilst the staff tried to resolve this issue by giving us a different room, I would have expected them to fix this issue or even better, resolved this issue before we checked in.

+ Access to the centre was great. We loved the pool and the gym. Was very useful to have the self- service laundry- a life saver. Restaurant and hotel facilities are great.
− Service in the cafe was very slow and items on the menu not always available. It was a non-smoking hotel, yet, when walking through 2nd floor to get to the 2nd lift, and on our floor 6, there was smell of smoking most of the time. It was not pleasant. Great hotel should always smell nice.
