An amazing stay in central Beijing

+ It was a very nice little hotel in a quiet street. The best part of the hotel however was the staff. We felt very welcome and they did their best to make us feel comfortable, helped us with all kinds of bookings and even emergencies and gave good suggestions on restaurants and attractions. Thank you so much for everything Fufu, Jennie, Nina, Yuki , Colin, Lucy. See you next time!

A retreat in busy Beijing

+ I loved everything about this property. The staff were incredible, so kind and helpful. The room was beautiful and peaceful. I’d give it more than 10/10 if I could.

Amazing, warm, great service

+ The property is very well put together and clean, the room was amazing. The best thing is the service: Fufu, Jennie, Lucy and Nina had the best hospitality with us. The kindest people, they made us have the best stay ever. Thank you for all! If you are going to Beijing, I 100% recommend you stay with them!

+ Don't be fooled by the laneway leading to this hotel. Located in the Hutongs of old Beijing we had a great time here, looked after by the fantastic staff. It is a small boutique hotel and the rooms were modern and very clean. The staff did everything they could to help us during the stay and we felt like we were part of the family.

Exceptional stay – hospitality at its best!

+ I had a great stay at Happy Dragon Courtyard and would definitely book it again! Even before I arrived, communication was super smooth and they sent over lots of helpful tips. The staff was incredibly welcoming and warm throughout my entire stay, and they were always ready to help whenever I had a question. One thing you shouldn't miss is their dumpling class—I loved making my own dumplings, it was so much fun! The location is also spot on: very close to a subway station and super convenient for the airport train. I was really happy with everything and had an awesome time here.

Hotel staff were brilliant.

+ Staff were incredible.They knew what I wanted before I did! They helped sort out my Alipay and Amap apps both of which are essential in Beijing. Hotel was spotless and location is great.

+ An exceptional stay in Beijing! We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was very comfortable and equipped with modern facilities, and the hotel itself is beautiful and perfectly located for exploring Beijing. But what truly made our stay special was the staff. They were, without a doubt, the warmest and kindest people we met during our entire trip across China. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, caring and attentive, and we genuinely felt looked after throughout our stay. Their kindness meant even more to us on our last day. After we had already checked out, my sister became unwell, and the staff kindly offered her a quiet place where she could rest and recover. We were extremely grateful for their compassion and thoughtfulness. After travelling through several cities in China, this is one of the hotels we will remember most — not only for the beautiful setting, comfortable rooms and great location, but above all for the wonderful people working there. Thank you so much for making our stay in Beijing so special. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel! ❤️

Excellent hotel in a Hutong for exploring Beijing

+ We really enjoyed our stay at the Happy Dragon Hotel. The location is very central and a great starting point for exploring Beijing and getting a feel for Chinese culture. The authentic breakfast is more than splendid and gives a great start in Chinese culture. A special thanks to Fufu, who was incredibly warm and helpful. She gave us lots of useful tips and advice and made us feel very welcome from the beginning. The hotel also arranged a fantastic trip to the Great Wall for us. Our guide Linda was excellent. During the bus ride, she shared not only information about the Great Wall, but also personal stories and insights into everyday life in China, which made the journey really interesting. What we especially liked about the tour was the freedom we had once we arrived. Everything was organized for us, including the cable cars and the slide, but instead of being rushed around in a group, we had plenty of time to explore the Great Wall by ourselves and at our own pace. For us, this was the perfect way to experience it. We had a great time in Beijing and would definitely recommend the Happy Dragon Hotel
