okay for one night especially when you have to go to the airport

+ AC, curtains on the beds, female dormitory has their own bathroom, friendly receptionist, fully equipped kitchen, close to the airport

− downstairs bathroom is nasty and has shit everywhere, small kitchen, only men stay there (which isn’t perfect for a female solo traveler), toilet didn’t flush in the women’s bathroom

Fine if you just need a bed.

+ The owners were nice. The wifi was pretty good.

− Kitchen was difficult to use. Very busy and only 2 burners work. Bathroom was also hard to navigate. Only one combined toilet/shower for women, and it was often occupied. Keys to the lockers were useless as any key will open any locker.

− Not the best vibe for solo traveller. Not social. Only three toilets downstairs and two showers. Not the hostels fault but the people in the rooms were so inconsiderate it was nonsensical.

− It is mostly muslim roles hostel. You can smoke in desingnated area but you can’t drink alcohol at all.

+ The curtains on the beds. Check In times are much more flexible than what Booking.com suggests. There was a guy who spoke German and could translate to the two brothers running the hostel which was great for me.

− Some guests in the female dorm were extremely noisy and I suspect they stay long term. Two women where talking loudly with each other after midnight. They were watching videos and making phone calls at 6-7am, very loudly next to my bed. The WiFi was really bad, I had to hold my phone at a specific corner of my bed to get some sort of signal but mostly it was non-existent in the female dorm. Also, in the kitchen people received phone calls and wanted to talk but weren’t able to because of weak signal. It’s not allowed to cook after 9pm which I find too early.

+ The hostel was lovely. It was well equipped with a relatively large kitchen compared to other hostels I’ve visited. It had a washing machine and drying racks. While there wasn’t a traditional common room, I found the open air beanbags to be very relaxing. The facilities were also quite clean, and the staff generally nice.

− The only negative was on the last day, when the check out time on Booking.com was advertised as up to 12:30, but the hostel manager came to kick me out at 11:45. He wasn’t very nice about it either, and wanted to escort me out like a security guard. I didn’t even mention the early timing, I just wanted to ask him if I could pay to stay longer because my bus was at 4:30. It took a few tries to communicate to him that I wanted to translate that question, because he seemed more focused on kicking me out than having a conversation. He was kind to me after that so maybe it was a misunderstanding because of language barrier. I just mention it because it was stressful in the moment especially since I hadnt caused any problems in the hostel.
