Hope after reconstruction it will shine.

+ Good location near the main road and river, rooms and facilities are clean. Very very nice restaurant Olly - service, interior and staff are amazing.

− Standard room is too small. Ongoing reconstruction in the building and works starting quite early - noise disturbs your sleep. Sound proofing of walls is very bad.

+ The property is super new and is being finished right now. Big windows, comfortable beds and nice linen.

− Showers and toilets are quite small, plus it’s missing some furniture to put on your toiletries

It’s a specific niche hotel

+ I liked that the room has two floors - fun for the kids, also you can tell that it is relatively new.

− I understand it is a boutique hotel, but the building did not feel purpose-built as a hotel, with a very small reception and no elevator. There were mosquitoes in our room upon arrival. A “balcony” door next to our room posed a safety hazard, as someone could fall out. Perhaps some of these issues were due to ongoing renovations. The receptionist also did not seem particularly welcoming.

Good stay for a short trip

+ Connectivity to the airport, the restaurant next door and the helpful staff

Photos were a little deceiving - tiny rooms and incomplete building

+ It had a good shower and water pressure

− 1. It was still under construction when we arrived. Even decor was incomplete (frames with no art and just had Zara home tags on them). Floor still had construction markings. A dude saw me in the shower from the window as he was on the gondola scaling up for the construction of the building. 2. Room was so tiny I couldn’t open my luggage. It was like playing Tetris and made the stay a little uncomfortable. 3. The bed was basically 2 single beds put together into a queen and I kept dipping into the middle. But I had just come back from camping so this was all still more comfortable than a tent :)

+ The overall service was good, the restaurant and breakfast were good. The whole set up of the restaurant indoor and outdoor was cute and cozy, especially all the cats around created extra cozy atmosphere. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the room cleaning was good too.

− The room sizes were too small, the standard room is only good for 1 person, don't even think to book it for a couple. I was there for business so it was fine for me alone. Despite of the small size it was quite nice how it is arranged, but it is almost impossible to move around. Also the whole building is under renovation so one night it had a bad smell of paint around and for one night it created the discomfort for sleep, the staff offered to move to another room after my complaint, but I felt the same smell around other rooms too or maybe my nose was already affected that much I couldn't feel the difference.

Great value hotel!

+ The beds were very comfortable and the rooms are cleaned everyday. Their restaurant has really good food. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially the receptionist who welcomed me, he was wearing glasses and braces. I forgot his name but his service really stood out. Thank you for a great stay!

+ Great Location, very clean and a good restaurant

− No lift facility, stairs are steep

Location & team excellent. Housekeeping, cleanliness, room facilities and renovation works poor.

+ The hotel’s location is very good, and that was one of the main positives of my stay. The gentleman at reception was helpful and kindly showed me the room before completing the check-in. Since there is no lift, I had to carry my luggage up the stairs, but the reception staff was kind enough to assist me with it.

− The rooms and bathrooms are very small and congested, and the wardrobe could not be fully opened due to its position next to the bed. Housekeeping in my first room was fine, but the second room was poorly maintained. Coffee mugs were left unwashed, water was not replenished after the first two days, and the room felt dusty. There is also no intercom to contact reception, and no lift that you have to climb up and down the stairs whenever you need assistance. Renovation work was also taking place during my stay, and the construction noise made it very difficult to rest or take a short nap during the day.

Good hotel! Would recommend.

+ Great location, the staff is also very helpful. As someone who's visiting Kazakstan for the first time, this hotel is exactly what I needed, somewhere clean and comfortable for me to relax after a whole day of touring. Special thanks to Baldaulet for his help.
