The hotel is also close to many cultural sites, including Sri Lakshmi Narayanan Temple and the National Museum. Simply decorated, rooms at ibis budget Singapore Selegie present a home away from home. Fitted with a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities, each room has a private bathroom with hot shower. The hotel’s rooftop swimming pool offers views of Singapore’s city skyline. Reasonably clean and neat, but amenities and equipment (e.g. TV) leave much to be desired.
+ Close to Little India and lots of F&B choices in the area, including late-night dining.
− Initially, I was assigned a room on a high floor overlooking the main street, Selegie Road. But the drawback was that the TV in this room couldn’t work at all. Most likely the remote control receiver on the TV was faulty. So, I had to ask to switch to another room with a working TV. Unfortunately, I had to settle for a room on the lower floor, (4th Storey). While the TV worked in this room, the room’s main drawback was that it was not a main-road-overlooking room — the window overlooked a nondescript brick & concrete courtyard at the back of the hotel. Hardly a pleasant view. But I settled for it, since the TV worked in this room. Another drawback was there was construction work going on during much of the day near the hotel. Hardly conducive to a relaxing stay.

The staff service meets the standards of the Ibis hotel.
+ The hotel enjoys a convenient location, close to public transport, while a variety of restaurants can be reached within a pleasant 10-minute walk. The reception staff are welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help, and the housekeeping service is both efficient and thorough, ensuring the room remains clean and comfortable throughout the stay. However, the main drawback is the extremely limited size of the room. Once the luggage is placed inside, there is barely enough space to move around comfortably. In addition, the absence of hand soap in the room was disappointing and detracted from the overall experience.

− It is more for people who like quiet zone . Its not our vibe there is no nearby reataurant and everything is closed early. The room is very small. Breakfast always cold and no big choice.
