Best staff ever
+ The staff are wonderful. Breakfast was ample and the grounds are total Zen. Beautiful.
− The place is on a crowded alley and there is no easy access to any major street. There are few good restaurants within walking distance.

Amazing stay for the price
+ Very good location, good services, and the staff was frankly amazing. We even asked for a restaurant during a very brief stopover and they suggested to us an amazing (and cheap!) place. Has free laundry service, a bar open till 01 AM, 24h reception, and the rooms are far more comfier than what the photos would have you believe. Location is fairly good and close to anything you might need. Albeit using DiDi for distant places is still the best, beijing is deceptively big.
− Honestly? Nothing. The only problem we had with our stay was not related to the hotel, but merely to how chaotic traversing a crosswalk in Beijing is, without being flattened!

Exceptional
+ I had a brilliant stay at Happy Dragon; they were fantastic hosts. The rooms are very comfy with blackout blinds, the food, good and the atmosphere is stunning. The road is a little narrow for taxis, which brings entertainment, and they couldn't do anything more to make it a wonderful stay. The bar was lovely, with a great host (i wished i remembered his name), and a lovely lady behind reception helped me order a takeaway, as they don't do meals in the evening. Great location, very convenient and quiet. You feel you are in the real Beijing. Washing was quick and free!

Great stay, friendly great value!
+ We had a lovely time at the Happy Dragon Hotel! Everyone we interacted with from the reception team and bartender to the doorman was incredibly welcoming, hospitable, and friendly. The service was great throughout our stay. The staff spoke English well and were always able to assist us with our inquiries, particularly with booking tours and tickets to tourist attractions. They were also very helpful with any other questions or arrangements we needed during our stay. The rooms were clean, well-designed, lovely to stay in, and very comfortable. The amenities were also great and made our stay even more enjoyable. Free laundry service is a great bonus! The breakfast provided was very good, with a great variety of different options and something to suit a range of tastes. The koi-fish pond was a lovely touch, and we even got to feed the fish, which was a fun little extra. A special shout-out to Coco, Connie, Cici, Lily and Alan for making us feel so welcome and taking such great care of us during our stay! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and really appreciated the warm hospitality and excellent service from the entire team. We would happily stay here again!
