Stay in the heart of Beijing. Happy Dragon Alley Hotel is ideally located in the heart of Beijing, a 3-minute walk from ZhangzizhongLu Subway Station (Line 5). Housed in a historic Beijing hutong. Happy Dragon Alley Hotel is a 17-minute drive from Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. It takes 20 minutes by subway to many tourist attractions such as Lama Temple, National Museum and Tian’anmen Square. South Luogu Alley, Bell and Drum Towers are a 20-minute walk away. Both Beijing West Railway Station and Beijing South Railway Station can be reached in 40 minutes' drive. Beijing Capital International Airport is 50-minute away and Daxing Airport is 70 minutes by taxi. There is a 24-hour front desk. The hotel’s tour desk can assist guests with making travel arrangements. Happy Dragon Alley Hotel offers a selection of day-tour routes including Great Wall, and night shows. A business center, free Wi-Fi and free luggage storage are also provided. The air-conditioned rooms are fitted with an electric kettle, and wooden furnishing. For guests' comfort, towels, free toiletries and a hairdryer are provided. Some rooms are designed in traditional Chinese style. Friendliest staff in Beijing
+ The staff really made this place a 10/10 for us. From the start of our arrival they were already very friendly and interested in our plans in China. I found it impressive that they remember it and would occasionally ask me questions about it. They also did a daily check in via Whatsapp to ask if we need anything etc. We especially had some nice contact with Sisi and Eric. I asked via Whatsapp if they knew a good location to buy hongbao and Eric provided me some free of charge. Sisi would also often have a chat with us when we would arrive or leave which we also enjoyed.
− The matras was a bit hard for my liking, but that’s it.

+ Had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The location is excellent, with the subway station just about a 5-minute walk away, making it very easy to travel around the city and visit the main attractions. The best part of my stay was the warm and welcoming feeling created by the staff. Everyone was attentive, courteous, and genuinely caring. They checked in with me daily to make sure everything was comfortable. On top of that, I received a lovely surprise on my last night—a thoughtful handwritten note along with some fresh fruit. During checkout, they also gave me a cute souvenir, which was such a nice gesture and a wonderful way to end my stay. Highly recommended for the location, hospitality, and especially the wonderful staff!

Location, location, location
+ Great location, had a great time exploring the hutongs around the area. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean, though quite basic. I enjoyed the coffee and yogurt available all day in the breakfast area.
− Breakfast was on the plain side. Would've appreciated a more local breakfast.
