+ Self check-in is super convenient! There is no elevator in the hostel. I had heavy luggage and was originally assigned to the third floor. After I told the customer service lady about my situation, she immediately helped me switch to a room on the first floor — so thoughtful! The beds are clean and tidy, and my roommates were quiet and considerate. Overall, I had a wonderful stay.

Not coming back again if you pay me

+ 1. The staff on WhatsApp are responsive 2. Close to some bus stations 3. There is a large Hawker Centre nearby

− 1. The first room I was staying in had ants crawling on my bed, hair that was not mine, and a bed bug on the curtain. I was switched to another bed in another room, and that bed had a broken foldable desk, a sticky sunscreen bottle left in the locker, and a large brown stain on the bedsheet. I was moved to the third room, and finally it is spacious and clean. (I do have photos, but I am not including them in this review to traumatize random Internet people) 2. There was no real staff in the building. The only way to get any help is through WhatsApp/WeChat. For check-in, you can only stand in front of the door on a hot day and send your documents. If you find any problems (e.g., the coin slot of the washing machine was stuck), you can only wait for the cleaners to come the next day and fix things. 3. There were also ants crawling in the lobby/bathroom. 4. The other visitors living in this hostel do not have high hygiene standards, leaving all kinds of things in the sink/floor/desk, ranging from nail extensions, underwear, toothbrush caps, soaked toilet paper, and more. 5. No curtains were separating the shower and the toilet.

Concrete beds and dirty

− It was extremely dirty , and the beds were missing the matras it felt like concrete! If you wanna have a sleep in a bed dont go to this place, you can better go sleep under a bridge on a cartonboard than here.

Good for basics

+ Good locations. Beds feel private

− It looked a mess. Linens everywhere— couldnt tell if they were clean or used. Ladders to get to the top bunk were dusty.

sleeping was great but didn't want to hang out at the hostel during the day

+ The beds were clean and comfy, and the air conditioning worked well. The location was great. The WhatsApp communication with management was quick and helpful

− The bathrooms were disappointing (often dirty), the communal area was underwhelming, and the cold water dispenser didn't work. The wifi was often glitchy and slow

Wouldn’t recommend

+ The only positive about this property is the location, price point, and the actual bed itself. Otherwise, checking in with stressful, multiple people have their phones dies, and we’re banging on the doors at 2 AM to be let in with the entire hostel. Multiple broken hooks in the bathroom so you can’t hang your stuff up anywhere when you shower. Rooms didn’t have a curtain on the door window so if you were changing while somebody outside was walking by they can see in, this hustle also doesn’t even have a microwave, which I’ve never seen before. Overall, I think the location and price still make it a compelling option, but it’s one of the worst hostels I’ve ever stayed at out of over 20 hostels across the world.

− No staff or security on site. Check in process, scanning into front door (if phone dies your screwed) lack of privacy in rooms with no door curtains, banging at the door at 2am, busted hooks in showers can’t hang stuff up, confusing you have to turn on heat for shower, nowhere to dry towels …
