Wonderful Experience
+ Liked everthing about the hotel. Its connected to a mall which was very convinient. Everything was great from the staff to the facilities and the breakfast has a good variety. Overall a very good experience.
− We had to get an extra bed for the 2nd kid which was fine. But when the extra bed is added the room becomes a bit small, but nothing to complain about.

Lovely stay in KL
+ Stayed at Doubletree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur for a week, on a mix of work and leisure. Pros - 1) Decadent cookie upon arrival - it's a real treat. 2) Really like the lounge area near check-in. Relaxed area to spend time with friends and family. 3) The rooms are huge and spacious. 4) Comfortable beds and pillows. 5) Strong shower pressure and all toiletries provided. 6) Internet was strong throughout. 7) Gym was a bit underwhelming - it lacked some of the equipment but still pretty decent. 8) I loved the breakfast buffet everyday. Mind you - wear a jacket to breakfast as it can get cold. Loads of fresh fruits, yoghurts and salads. There are separate Chinese, Indian, Malay and Western sections - the options are quite expansive. There's a noddle bar where you can have options such as Laksa & Tom Yam. Fresh Ipoh Coffee, Masala chai, green teas, juices etc. There were live roti and egg counters as well. I wasn't bored even though I ate here every day for a week. 9) Connected to a mall that has a great bookstore, a food court, some coffee options, a large supermarket etc. - so it's very convenient.
− Cons - 1) The check-in process can be improved. When my ageing in-laws arrived, there was no one at the entrance to help them with their luggage. Also, no clear signs at the check-in, there were people skipping the queue. The staff also seemed aloof, and I had to announce myself to get their attention. 2) The sofas in the rooms are honestly quite uncomfortable. 3) The location of the hotel is 6/10 - while it's connected to a mall, it's still 20 mins away from centre of town and the attractions and the area can get quite stuck with traffic in the evenings.
