+ Nice service

A good deal if you compare it with hostels and privacy is your priority.

+ The price is similar to a capsule hotel/bunk bed in hostel. Comparing this place against hostels, I would say it’s a great choice if privacy and personal space is important to you. It’s 10 minutes walk away from the Lavender station and there’s quite some nice food choices around the place. You have a card to lock your room. The facilities aren’t as fancy as some hostel, but you get to have your space to dry the towel, put your personal belongings, and open your luggages. I saw some bad reviews before booking regarding the noise and facilities, as I compared it with a hostel bunk bed based on its price, overall it’s good. Also I could turn on my alarm clock without worrying too much comparing to a hostel when there’s only a curtain (you still need to be mindful that the wall is thin and your neighbors would still hear it).

− I got waken up 3 times the first night from the noise from doors, talking, and people stepping on the stairs (which is my ceiling). It’s ok once I get used to it.

Good value for money, would stay there again

+ Clean, convenient, great location, easy to check in and out, host was very nice and helpful

− It’s quite cramped and hard to move around, also bathrooms can be better

Very Good

+ Location is excellent, mattresses are comfortable, cleanliness is good, and it is considerably cheaper than most hotels.

− The room was extremely small with no natural light and without any furniture other than a single bed and a small wooden shelf above it. One has to be mentally prepared to adjust to it, if not used to such a thing. In most parts of the world, it might seem extremely expensive to pay so much for a tiny room like this; but then this is central Singapore, where space is at a premium like nowhere else.

Good for a one night stay

+ Simple accommodation, adequate for a one night stay. Tiny rooms along a two storey hall way. Beds were a mattress on the floor with just enough room for suitcases to be opened. Good door locks and a safe in each room. Basic bathroom facilities that seem to be shared by many people, which wasn't a problem when we were there. Staff welcomed us on arrival and were helpful, as the automati checkin machine was being serviced. Local restaurant nearby served good food.

− Luggage storage was available, but it was in a curtained alcove off to the side of the entrance foyer, and was not locked. Was accessible to anyone coming in from the street. If the hotel had many guests I think the bathrooms would have been inadequate.

Pleasant

− No open window or ventilation and AC was just a fan. Very stuffy room. Good location and helpful staff
