A Great Base in the Heart of Beijing

A fantastic base for exploring Beijing
I really enjoyed my stay at Base-Beijing Wangfujing Serviced Apartments. As a solo traveller, I found it to be a comfortable, convenient and relaxing place to stay while exploring Beijing.
The location is excellent, with Wangfujing and many of Beijing’s main sights easily accessible. After busy days sightseeing, it was lovely to come back to a comfortable apartment with more space and facilities than a typical hotel room.
The apartment was clean, modern and well equipped, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I particularly appreciated having somewhere that felt like a home away from home during my time in Beijing.
A great choice for both short and longer stays, and I would happily stay here again on a return visit to Beijing.

Nice size apartment center of city

the apartment is very roomy, with laundry inside the room, located in the center with lots of restaurants and shops around.

Great stay in a great location with helpful staff.

Very helpful staff. The location was excellent- we could walk to subway stations or easily get DiDi around the city.

Location is super good. The most central of Beijing. Close to everything and very convenient.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very quiet and bed is very comfortable so we all got some good sleep during our stay.

Bath room somehow got mouldy. Need some renovation.

Exceptional

Very nice apartment hotel with all the amenities you need. Great location with stations about 10-15 min walk away and a lot of shops nearby. The rooms were big and the staff were very kind to let me leave my bag with them before my room was ready.

Great base from which to explore Beijing

This is a fantastic little hotel. Located in a really good spot in the Hutong with lots of cool little local eateries and bars nearby. Close to two metro stations and walking distance to lots of local amenities. We were upgraded from a one to two bedroom apartment that had a great bedroom where you could watch the sunrise over the Hutong in the morning. Staff were super friendly and had very good English which was very helpful.

Our stay exceeded all expectations. The room was extremely spacious, comfortable, and well-designed, featuring a separate living room and a kitchen. Having that extra space made it feel truly like a home away from home after a long day of exploring the city.
The cleanliness was absolutely spotless throughout. The staff deserves a solid 10/10—warm, polite, attentive, and always eager to help with directions, tips, and local recommendations. Their hospitality truly made our trip seamless.
The location is simply fantastic. Tucked inside a traditional hutong, it offers a peaceful, charming, and authentic cultural atmosphere, while still providing easy, quick access to Beijing’s top attractions and public transit. Having a vibrant local market just a few steps away was a wonderful bonus—ideal for picking up fresh fruit and experiencing authentic everyday neighborhood life.
The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the area felt very safe, and the entire atmosphere was lovely. A true gem in Beijing. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again!

The kitchen area had very few basic utensils available upon arrival. Essential items like drinking glasses and mugs were missing, and there were barely enough utensils and cutlery to prepare or enjoy a simple meal. While the reception team is very helpful and will promptly provide additional items if you ask, it would be much more convenient and comfortable for guests to find a fully equipped setup already stocked in the room, especially given how great the kitchen space itself is.

Great location, spacious and clean

We booked a 2-bedroom apartment . It was very spacious, clean and came with 2 bathrooms with plenty of storage space. The washer/dryer was very welcomed. Although there is a small kitchen, it did not have any cutlery or utensils but it was not a problem for us. There are shops and restaurants close by and it is about 45mins walk to forbidden city. Also close to Dongsi metro station which is the pick up point for our trip to the Great Wall. I would highly recommend staying here.
