Loved our stay at Ann Siang House.
+ We did not want to stay in high rise accommodation, we loved the look of the retro low, old style fit out of Ann Siang House. Location was also a big plus. So close to Maxwell Station and Chinatown. First time train from the airport users - it was so easy. A big red bus stop was also close by. Service was great, happy hour drinks a nice touch. The red wine was pretty good. If back in Singapore, we would definitely return to Ann Siang House.

A perfect alternative to a big international hotel.
+ Nice home like ambience. Comfortable lounge. Very comfortable room. Enjoyed morning coffee and wine aperitif.
− A little more variety for breakfast would be welcome.

A great small hotel in a really wonderful location.
+ Great location, comfortable rooms and the convenience of the laundry. We enjoyed the availability of coffee all day and the happy hour wine. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

+ We loved the location close to the Maxwell MRT and food hall and Chinatown in general We also loved the free water refill and ice machine
− What we didn’t like was the room we stayed in only had sheer curtains and pulled out blinds but didn’t really block much light so it was quite bright from the street lights on a nighttime

Impressive Chinatown 5 STAR
+ Was thoroughly impressed with the location of this hotel. Right next to Maxwell Food Centre in Chinatown. Short walk to public transport options (bus and underground) and notable attractions. In all directions from the hotel are numerous restaurants, bars, bakeries, seven 11's and street markets. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Nicole who helped with storing our luggage upon an early arrival and orienting us to our surroundings. Light breakfast is offered of pastries. All day snacks available in the lobby including sweet and savoury options. Bonus points for being able to access a guest laundry (washer and dryer). Comfortable bed. We had a corner room which looked noticeably bigger than the standard room.
− No windows were able to be opened. Every now and then you can hear the underground train as a distant noise.

Great location & amenities
+ Location's so good! Everything u need within 5 min walk. Snacks, drinks are all complimentary downstairs. Including free flow wine at 5-6pm. Love the pillows too.
− Can be slightly noisy due to underground mrt. I don't mind it but it did feel/hear like there's an airport nearby lol.

+ Social hour 5-6 free flow wine, unlimited snacks for the little ones, bubbly water/tea/coffee available all day. The small touches made the hotel just that extra bit nicer. Also helps to be right next to club st and Maxwell!
− Tv was very small and in the corner of the room and volume was capped at 25 so can't hear anything from the bed. The TV also lacked streaming ability so we had to watch random stuff from available channels which the kids did not love but adults didn't mind.
