Great stay in quiet local hutong.

+ Staff were incredibly helpful. Great value and lovely atmosphere. Nice location in one of the most historical hutongs in Beijing. Highly recommend this place.

− Beds were very firm but seems to be the way in China.

+ Quiet yet central area, cozy Hutong neighbourhood, modern rooms, fluent English speaking and extremely helpful staff - which is an absolute asset if you are the first time in China as I was

− Nothing, except for some Didi drivers rejecting to pass through the narrow Hutong street (waiting for them not possible) so better ask for pickup from the next boulevard, just 50 meters away.

If I come back no doubt I’ll choose this hotel again

+ Amazing location with many services around. Two subway stations nearby. Very cozy hotel and the staff are very friendly and welcoming, very good English speakers who are very polite, making you feel like home. Quality-price ratio unbeatable.

Amazing stay with excellent staff

+ The staff were excellent. I know no Chinese (which I know is terrible I should of learned some) but the staff were so happy to help and support with all questions. The rooms were very clean.

− If anything, the bed could be a bit softer. But that’s probably a westerner thing.

When I will come to Beijing next time, I will stay here. Location is the best!

+ The staff was great! They helped me and my friends to find all locations, they explained us how we should buy tickets. And really they speak english vety well! Becouse in another hotel in China we could understand the staff only with google translate.

Friendly, clean, comfy hutong area stay

+ The greeting at the front desk was welcoming and informative. Someone helped me get my bags up a level ( there is no elevator, but stairs were an easy walk). The room was clean and comfy. The window looked out over a hutong area, which contributed to the experience. The main entrance is in an alley, a short distance from a main road. This road has many local eating spots in either direction from the end of the alley I didn't want any more payment apps on my phone, so I opted to get cash from an ATM (sign reads self bank) That worked better for the more basic eating spots, too. It is a moderate walk or a quick taxi or Didi ride to the Forbidden City. The hotel is in the typical pick up area for Great Wall tours. The hutong location is a welcome change from big box hotels. Minor, biy major ..the shower was great!

A charming hotel with a great location and exceptionally helpful staff

+ A wonderful place to stay, tucked away in the charming hutongs of Beijing while still being accessible by car. The breakfasts were good, and the staff were absolutely lovely, friendly and incredibly helpful. They gave us excellent advice on planning our itinerary and exploring Beijing, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were well-equipped, and the complimentary washing machine and dryer were a very useful bonus. We had a fantastic experience and would happily recommend this hotel!
