+ The property manager, Patrick, was extremely kind and welcoming. He shared a lot of useful information about nearby attractions and activities in the surrounding area. In the evenings, the local people prepared incredibly delicious dinners and breakfasts for us. The accommodation itself is located in a beautiful area, surrounded by jungle and slightly away from the city noise, which made it very peaceful. I would go back there anytime — it holds many wonderful memories for me. The prices we had to pay for food and drinks were extremely affordable and honestly quite surprising. Greetings from Estonia!

+ The host Patrick is very friendly, full of meticulous care and love. All the staffs are very happy and friendly. The food is so good and variety: Indonesian, France and Asian. The views from the Villa is excellent. The local people are very happy and friendly.

− In future if Patrick need to replace the long sofa cushion, Please consider to use the cushion not easy being stained by water, as some guest used the sofa after swimming.

+ This place was truly a paradise on earth — and I found it completely by chance. The road leading there goes through stunning jungle scenery, and when we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Patrick, the owner, who was incredibly kind and caring. Together with his team, he prepared us dinner and breakfast, sharing his beautiful story along the way. Everything we ate was homemade — from fresh fruit to jams made from his own garden. This stay wasn’t just accommodation; it was a full experience of authentic Bali.

+ What a fantastic stay, you can't go wrong here. Patrick was the best host ever, so welcoming and warm - every breakfast and dinner he came around to chat with us. He invited us to visit a local association he supports that teaches Balinese children which was lovely, and on our way back told us all about the local village life which was fascinating. He is clearly very loved by the locals, and has become a part of their village. He also hires some of them as staff around his villa including cooking staff. The villa itself was amazing, probably the most comfortable stay I had in Bali. You could tell everything was designed very intentionally, such a beautiful array of plants and fruit species. Pool was great, rooms were great, fast wifi.

− It was a bit of a walk to the local restaurant he suggested for lunch, which we didn't mind as we enjoy walking and exploring, but might be a bit far for some (we don't know how to ride a scooter).

+ Our family of five (including three teenagers) had the most amazing time at Villa Markisa. The accommodation is clean and comfortable with modern amenities, very nice temperature and reliable wifi. We had all dinners and breakfasts at the villa which was definitely a highlight. Crepes, assorted fresh fruit and coffee set us up perfectly for an active day trip exploring Sepumpal Waterfall (best in Bali!) all organised by Patrick the amazing host. Dinners consisted of the best authentic Balinese cuisine with pristine views of the countryside. Pool and massages fantastic too! An unexpected addition was a walking tour through the neighboring jungle area with Patrick explaining the local plants and practices, including a visit to the farmer's palm distillery and sample of the produce. Thank you for sharing your private oasis with us Patrick, we wish we could have stayed longer but am certain we will return.
