Relaxing place to stay, left doors open to hear waves crashing while we slept.
+ Over all the stay was wonderful. The pool table was in rough shape and not worth playing on. Minor inconvenience. Long walk to anything that was fun. Beach under construction, but not the resort's fault.
− Pool table seemed like it was used and abused. Needs new bumpers felt and leveled. Rest of the resort was wonderful.

Good place to relax and enjoy the whole day at.
+ First, Candidasa has made an effort to clean up the casual rubbish problem. It has public bins and signs and it seems to be working well, at least away from the main road. Classy place that has two areas - by the dining area and by the sea. Easy to move between them. Has lots of common areas and a nice spacious and relaxed feel to it. We stayed in huts by dining which were a bit older and cheaper. Upstairs is best. Both pools were very good. Was one of very few places with an easy access and nice, private beach. New boardwalk may impact this in the future? Room large, comfortable, clean and had a great non slip floor. Had a slightly worn feel to the bathroom, but rest was really nice. Had an overhead fan. Located a short walk to warungs and other shops yet pretty well out of the way from anything busy. No mosquitoes. Good enough standard breakfast. Has a full menu for other meals if required.

Paradise for westerners
+ Food delivery from the staff though the web app directly to where we were on the resort. The smiley staff and the architecture and furniture and the little private beach n So much more
− Our villa nr1 was not the best place for people like us who need a good night sleep. Curtains that didn't block much light, resp garden lights were on long after 22:00 night peace; lot of noise from surroundings (people, ocean waves) coz its in the middle of the area; no privacy unless the curtains are closed... So if you want peace choose the other side of resort by the pool, or the upper floors. But hay, no biggie! We are in paradise and we loved it.
