+ Private hot spring and quiet setting

− I did not have a scooter so it was bit difficult to go around

Glamping style, friendly staff, appropriate for price, adequate for one or two nights.

+ The staff member running the place was friendly and attended to all our requests I liked the outdoor shower I loved the little natural hot-spring tub outside the room The bed was beautifully made and everything was very clean

− The description of the stay could be misleading. I would describe this as a glamping experience rather than a cottage stay. Best for one or two nights. Kettle was old and one of the rooms had a faulty one. Location. Not where i would choose to stay again unless i was doing the volcano hike, however, it is located right behind the rice-field and in view of the volcano which is lovely.

− Too many flies , but that is not the property’s fault , because unfortunately there is a lot of them in all the area ( like Batur)…

+ The room feels nice with hut-style room. The jacuzzi filling speed is very very fast and we like it! Very friendly owner. Very nice and calm atmosphere.

− If you are using car, the entry to park at the accommodation is very narrow and need to be very careful.

Pleasant

+ Great locations we could walk to the Hot Springs super comfy at night. They fill up a big bathtub out front where you can soak which was wonderful great water power the only bad thing where the flies. The whole town is full of flies because of the chicken poop, but it is what it is.

Paid for two nights, stayed for one…

+ The bedding was generally clean and the hot pools were okay.

− There are a few problems. We only ended up staying one of the two nights we booked. There is zero security. No padlock, no way to secure the door when you’re not present. The doors don’t really even close properly. While there were three other vacant cabins available, we were given one with a completely broken door to the toilet / shower area from the outside of the cabin. They did try to fix it when we pointed this out to them, but the doors still didn’t close properly afterward. There was a cigarette butt in the shower area and there was a very minimal amount of toilet paper provided. The tea / coffee containers were basically empty and the small fridge was unplugged when we arrived. The location is not ideal. There are very few places where you can walk for food etc and you will hear all of the road traffic overnight and heading up Batur as the turnoff is very close. As others have said, there are flies absolutely everywhere. The staff, while reasonably friendly, are generally disinterested and the property lacks a lot of basic maintenance. We didn’t use the shower but understand that they have cold water only - which is not made clear on the listing. The bathroom bamboo slats have quite large gaps so, especially at the front cabin with the broken door, you will not feel like you have much privacy. We ended up leaving on the second morning despite having paid for two nights. There are nice views of the mountains but that’s really about all you will get.

+ There was this lovely hot natural pool that I really enjoyed. The guy/taking care of the property was super nice and available and also the mountain trip with Nyoman was great I really appreciated it.

− The air conditioning wasn’t working and at night is super cold inside.

Amazing stay

+ The hot spring is amazing, didn’t expect to use it but we did multiple times. It’s located really good and we booked a tour from there, the guide was really amazing!
