good
+ the room cleaner always helpful and friendly she looked after us.
− I go to SM i because i like swimming in the pool but on this occasion the pool was filthy and was unable to use for nearly 4 weeks until my final day when it had been cleaned I was not happy especially that I had complained on the 2nd day of my arrival 9/7/26 we vacated on 10/8, otherwise all good but a medium score of 6.

Was lovely comfortable and would return
+ The room nice size, bed was clean but pillows need washing and bed could do with a mattress protector. The room needs a little attention missing pieces of wood on the wooden surfaces. My door lock was a nightmare key kept getting stuck. My room was not cleaned but then I realised you had to ask for it to be done. Tv didn't work but not on holiday for tv. The pool was lovely but is not cleaned daily and the sunbeds and surrounding areas were a mess broken tables made off stone., sun bed painted black no sunbed cushions. Toilet was clean near pool. Sat in reception area at night playing cards the lighting poor and ceiling fans don't work, would of made a difference from good stay to a great stay if some of the points I have mentioned were delt with. Staff were very pleasant
− Pool area needs some work needs cleaning daily sunbeds were painted black and there were stone tables and seats but all broken no sun bed mattress on which made an uncomfortable pool experience. Fans in reception area did not work so sitting in there of an evening was uncomfortable. Rooms need some attention but minor.

Eye opening as this was advertised as a five start hotel. Wouldn’t give it a 3 star
+ The staff on reception and the cleaners
− Round by the pool the toilets were flooded and left. The pool area is tired and needs updating. The rooms need updating and this is certainly not a 5 start hotel as advertised. No water one morning. WiFi terrible….. broken bottle right by reception that had been there for 3 days.
