Very disappointing experience – not as advertised

+ On the positive side, the bed itself would actually have been comfortable, which unfortunately we barely got to enjoy because of the noise. We would also like to thank the kind lady from the reception who genuinely tried to help us and understood our concerns. Unfortunately, our experience with the manager was very different. After a lengthy discussion, we were led to believe that he agreed to our early check-out. We were later informed that he had communicated the opposite to Booking.com and that we would still be charged for the remaining nights. As we do not speak Turkish, we felt that the language barrier was used to our disadvantage. We have used Booking.com for many years and have never previously had to leave an accommodation early. Unfortunately, we would not choose this property again.

− We booked this property for 5 nights because of its high rating on Booking.com, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. We ended up leaving after just one night. Manager had agreed to The main issues we encountered were: * Extreme noise throughout the night – motorcycles, ambulances, police vehicles, tram and loud music from nearby locations. We could barely sleep and were repeatedly woken up. The hotel is in a very busy area, the tram functions until midnight, etc. * The property is advertised as a 3-star property on Booking.com, while the sign at the property indicates 2 stars. * There was no hand soap in the bathroom. * Very unpleasant smell from the bathroom, whenever using the toilet, sink or shower. When we informed the manager, he pretended he did not know, only to acknowledge later that it’s a problem in the entire neighborhood. * There was mold in the bathroom. * Water damage/leaks visible on the ceiling. * Partially used toilet paper was provided. * ⁠Some furniture was in bad shape. * Breakfast was disappointing and did not meet the expectations created by the property’s rating. Overall, the accommodation did not match the expectations created by its 9+ Booking.com rating.

+ I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The manager was incredibly kind and helpful, and he even arranged a taxi for me to the airport. The rest of the staff were just as friendly and attentive. It’s clear that the hotel genuinely cares about the satisfaction and comfort of its guests, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The location, however, is definitely the best part. It’s absolutely perfect and makes it very easy to get around and enjoy everything nearby. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!

Hotel Istanbul

+ We rented two rooms at this hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, featuring comfortable beds, a mini-fridge, a safe, white clean towels and a private bathroom equipped with all the essentials. Breakfast was included. Parking was available on the street, right at the hotel entrance. The hotel is located about five tram stops from the Grand Bazaar. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming.

− The street noise was disturbing at night. The water had an unpleasant smell, and at times, I could smell cigarette smoke in the room.

Hotel nou, curat langa tramvai T1.

+ Camera spatioasa cu balcon, curatenie, personal amabil, curatenie zilnică, hotel deschis recent chiar langa statia de tramvai T1. Multe restaurante, magazine in zona. Loc de parcare in față gratuit.

Exceptional

+ I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and everything was very pleasant. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you to the whole team for the great hospitality!

O revenire excelentă! Servicii impecabile și personal extraordinar

+ Am petrecut 3 nopți minunate aici, fiind deja la a doua vizită. Hotelul excelează la capitolul facilități și locație, fiind perfect conectat la transportul public. Personalul și managerul merită toate laudele pentru cât sunt de grijulii și atenți. Atenția lor pentru detalii este atât de mare încât am fost întrebată în fiecare zi dacă nu doresc micul dejun, deoarece au observat că nu îl serveam (eu personal nu mănânc dimineața). Recomand cu încredere acest hotel pentru o experiență fără cusur în Istanbul!

Qui Hotel & Spa - Five-night Review

+ Qui Hotel & Spa is located in a very strategic location, a 1-minute walk 🚶‍♂️ for two tram 🚊 stations, almost 15-20 minutes from Sultanahmet/ Blue Masque; you can also find bus station close by so you move freely to other locations; the facility is clean and neat; sound proofing is v.good considering the suite view is right on the main street; staff are nice and supportive, they showed a high level of responsibility and eagerness to support whenever needed. The room has a small balcony where you can enjoy a nice evening with a small cup of tea 🍵/ coffee ☕️.

− Although I am not a person who has breakfast always, it would be nice if they serve a more diversified and rich Turkish-like breakfast. Laundry service is not included and not available in the hotel; you have to manage it yourself, which is something you might like to handle as a stranger.
