It was ok. I did really like the bedside lighting and the underbed lighting.

+ The bed preparation was not complete. I had to ask twice for pillow cases and there was no blanket. The staff seemed unsure if they would be able to provide me a blanket, but after I pressed I got one.

− Not having to chase down bedding when I was tired and wanted to sleep.

− From the moment we arrived, we were extremely disappointed with the hotel. We were initially given a room with no windows, a terrible smell, no air conditioning, and overall very poor conditions. It was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. The staff eventually changed our room to what they called a “suite,” but unfortunately, the new room was not much better. There was no cold water, no air conditioning, the Wi-Fi connection was poor, and the furniture and overall condition of the room were far below acceptable standards. The curtains were terrible, and the bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. We were very surprised to experience such poor conditions, especially as this was completely unexpected. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, and pleasant place to stay.

+ Location excellent. Room comfortable and staff friendly.

− Still doing some building work. Eg. Tiling reception area however the room was a very good price so wasn't really that bothered.

+ The room was actually very clean and with some extras like slipper, soap, fridge ect The price was the cheapest I could find in this area for a private room and at that time the same price like a hostel room would cost

− The Main Street is super loud and windows are not sound proof. I definitely needed earplugs. Biggest downside The shower was blocked an partly flooding the bathroom after only 3 minutes of showering There was construction work in the whole hallway but I guess that’s only temporary The last two points can be fixed only regarding the noise it’s personal if somebody can stand it or not

+ Great new and clean place.

− Lools a bit sketchy from the street as it is being renovated. Someone staying at the hotel was screaming and being super noisy for long periods of time at night.

Exceptional

+ I found Piola hotel very comfortable. I was a bit confused figuring out the entrance to the hotel (it seems it's still in a construction phase). Most importantly, it's located close to the ferry on one side and Marmaray, Metrobus, bus and train station on the other (Söğütlüçeşme) and shopping and night life area in between. Since it's in the quiet street there is no noise around.

Hidden gem in Kadikoy!

+ The location is perfect for exploring the streets of Kadikoy. everything looks very high-end and polished, especially the lobby. the bed was extremely soft and the room temperature was easy to control.

− The hallway carpet had a loose thread.

Exceptional

+ I was surprised by how fresh the room felt. The design is contemporary and the bathroom is a 10/10 for style. It’s hard to find such a quiet place in a busy neighborhood. Staff handled our check-out very professionally.
