I recommend you this hotel

I recently stayed at the Orka Royal Hotel and wanted to share my feedback. On the positive side, the location is very convenient, the overall facilities are well-maintained, and the food provided was exceptional and of great quality. The hotel staff across most departments were polite and professional.

However, there were a few significant drawbacks during my stay:
Spa and Swimming Pool Policy: One staff member in charge of the spa center informed me that the swimming pool could only be used in the morning due to children. This policy was frustrating, especially since there was no prior notice, written rule, or official sign communicating this restriction to guests. Clear communication regarding facility rules is essential.
Room Conditions: The room provided was quite narrow and, unfortunately, I encountered a cockroach (caffard) during my stay. This is a hygiene and pest-control issue that management needs to address immediately.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Turkey. The location was excellent, with easy access to transportation and nearby attractions.
The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Special thanks to Seyhmus, Kazım, Adem, and Yevil for taking such great care of me and making me feel comfortable throughout my stay.
The room was clean and comfortable, housekeeping was excellent, and the food and breakfast were very good. Overall, I had a lovely experience and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

Great location at the heart of the historical center, with view to the Bosphorus Strait from the rooftop. Breakfast offers a wide range of mainly vegetarian food. The bed was comfortable, wifi speed was okay. Spa area is open until 9pm.

The Turkish tea at breakfast was always too bitter to me, and they use skim milk.

Good location, very basic stay

Location was great , receptionists were very friendly. SPA was great however the jacuzzi didn’t work.

The bed was terrible, mattress was extremely soft woke up with back pain every morning. Also , I asked for double bed , instead we got two singles joined together but as we moved around the beds separated . The shower head was mouldy . Breakfast was okay nothing fancy / special

Great facilities, but disappointing service and check-in experience

The rooftop pool has a beautiful view, and we also enjoyed the gym and spa. The breakfast was good, with a variety of options for mediterranean breakfast.

Cleaning room was so poor. We always missed something, mostly tea bags and face taowl or bath math.
First night, at 11 pm when we reached there after long trip they send us to a another hotel that didnt have good conditioner and poor WiFi and they said they dose not have electricity. Our 2nd day morning passed for checking and eventually we got the room after 2pm.

The pool and rooftop was so nice and the staff were lovely. Ufuk was especially helpful and friendly. He helped me with my bags to my taxi and made sure I was paying a good price.

Every time we visit Istanbul, we book at Orka Royal Hotel.
The location is perfect, and most of the employees are very helpful.
We want to thank Mr. Ahmet Zaza, manager of the breakfast kitchen, Mrs. Arzu, who was very helpful, and Aymen.

We didn't like the dinner since we booked half board, the quantity was too small and there were no options and most of the food was with spices.
We stayed 9 nights, but the same food was repeated every 3 days.
We will not book any more half board .
