+ Location. And the gym and pools are great. Sauna pool, cold dip pool, plentiful towels for use at the poolside. Opening hours for gym - 24 hrs. Rooms are clean and made up in time.
− No halal breakfast, but that's okay cos little india is within walking distance.

Home away from Home
+ The executive package that comes with a skyline room and the amazing hospitality provided by the senior staff particularly under Malek. He is a true professional. Housekeeping were very efficient but it took a day for them to realise my room was being used. I was upgraded which was kind and sensible but housekeeping at the weekend did not know.
− Not sure about the lounge at 19 for lunch. It's a bit down market from the previous version on the 28th floor. If costs are an issue increase the room rate to cover it. Don't like the amount of light in the room at night. Flood lights under the bedside units. Not necessary. And for a sleep apnoea suffer a problem trying to stay asleep. They need switches so we can turn them off. First day, Saturday, room was not serviced till almost 4pm. I realise the need to turn around a vacated room but this should not be at the expense and discomfort of current guests. Particularly distressing for me as I was there grieving my wife who made the booking but died 20 weeks earlier. Maybe a few more staff members might solve the problem?

+ We have now stayed at One Farrer Hotel Singapore four times, each time booking a Skyline Studio with Lounge Access, and overall we continue to enjoy staying at this hotel very much. From the moment you arrive, the staff at the check-in desk are always friendly, helpful and welcoming – no matter what time of day or night. Although One Farrer is a large hotel, it never feels impersonal, which is something we really appreciate. The Skyline Studios are spacious, quiet and very well equipped, with beautiful views over the city. The beds are extremely comfortable, and we particularly appreciate the electric blackout blinds. Even during longer stays, the rooms offer plenty of space and are very comfortable. One of the reasons we have repeatedly chosen the Skyline Studio is the Lounge Access. During our first two stays, breakfast as well as the midday and evening offerings were all served in the lounge on the 8th floor. We really enjoyed this concept. The 8th-floor lounge is beautifully designed, modern, comfortable and has a very pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, during our third and fourth stays, within a period of only about two months, this arrangement had changed. Breakfast and the evening service were still offered on the 8th floor, while during midday and afternoon guests were directed to a room on the 9th floor. In our opinion, this room is much less attractive and lacks the comfortable and stylish atmosphere of the 8th-floor lounge. We did not enjoy this change at all. We sincerely hope that the management will reconsider this decision and return to offering the complete Lounge experience on the 8th floor throughout the day. For guests specifically choosing and paying for Lounge Access, the atmosphere and quality of the lounge are an important part of the overall experience. The Lounge staff deserve special praise. They are extremely friendly, attentive and service-oriented.

Was upgraded from a suite to villa, a great surprise on check in.
