Paradise

+ Fabulous hotel and resort. We stayed as a family with two young children and they had such a great time. The staff were amazing

− Would have been good if the non-motorised water sports could be used for longer as part of the all inclusive package.

The property is lovely, the ocean villas are wonderful. All inclusive is limited to public areas

+ The ocean villas were lovely. The outdoor couch was as wonderful to enjoy as quiet relax. The main beach was also great

− I didn’t like that the ‘all inclusive’ was only at the buffet restaurant. It meant we planned our day around having to go to the restaurant. I would have loved if they had a smaller menu that you could order to the room. We wanted a calm relaxing holiday to stay in the villa, so it was inconvenient that everything had to be in public spaces (including drinks only at the bar)

Stunning vacation experience

+ This was a fantastic experience that exceeded all our expectations. The water villa was truly amazing, allowing you to comfortably jump into the ocean right from your back door. The rooms were incredibly well kept and clean, air conditioning was excellent, the bathroom was great and service was regularly done. The hotel went out of their way to make sure that we were close to other family that had beach villas. The food for every meal included a variety of options centered on Western, Indian and Asian cuisine, along with a specific area for Maldivian cuisine. More than enough for one to choose from and plenty of kids options. The pool was warm and never felt super crowded. There were some great regular activities like water polo and volleyball that were a lot of fun, as was the foam party and fire show. And it was so incredibly convenient to get here via speedboat from the airport. About 15 minutes and very comfortable. Staff at the airport were very efficient and helpful. Overall, I highly recommend this resort.

− There was some paving happening on one of the walkways towards our villa which was a little annoying at times but nothing major. When it rained (not much), there were parts of the paths that would get big puddles. Not sure if there is a way to fix or solve that. It wasn't a major inconvenience though.

Exceptional

+ Such a great experience from start to finish. It was very family friendly, the facilities and food had something for everyone and the staff were fantastic.

Family friendly resort and value for money

+ The resort is family friendly. They have a very nice kid's club. We also went there to celebrate our son's birthday and they go over and beyond to make our son enjoy his special day. Special mention to the entertainment team, especially their manager Elvira. Alam who always check on our room and help us with the in-room decoration for our son, and to their Executive Chef that I didn't get his name, but always offer to cook a specialized meal for our son who is a bit picky eater and also giving a complimentary cake.

− Just a minor one and maybe out of their control. They arranged our boat transfer way too early before our flight, we arrived at the airport almost 4 hours before our flight and since we cannot check-in until 3 hours before, we have to wait outside and a bit of a challenge when you have a toddler. We could have spent 1 or 2 more hours at the resort but we know that the transfer are done on a per group basis. Overall, still a good experience

Amazing food and rooms but microtractions made it feel cheap

+ The food was amazing with a great variety and each and every dish was top quality. The menu was varied for each meal and day aswell with selections from all cuisines you can think of. The dessert were not only beautiful piece of art but also very very delicious. The bartenders were lovely and the free drinks were also yummy. We had a beach villa which had a beautiful view and room and lovely luxurious too.

− We felt that the constant mention of add ons made the experience feel "cheap" and not hospitable. The 15 min water activites felt stingy and complicated to have to book. It felt that things with watersports were designed to make you have to pay or be left with a not fun experience. The snorkel hire was until 5 o clock which made it impossible to spot the fish that are most active before sunset (between 5-6). These smaller acts made our experience feel less luxurious and comfortable which it could've otherwise been. I think the resort could benefit from being more hospitaltable and make sure the guests can feel they made a good decision booking this holiday and not constantly be asked to make microtransactions. The excursions were very expensive so my recommendations would be to divide your trip in two parts. One for seeming the marine life where you can go to a local island like Dhigurah and see amazing corals and fish and whale sharks. Later you can go to a resort and have the picture you imagined of water villas etc.
