+ Great snorkeling...saw over 60 species of fish. I loved the orchid garden. The boat trip from Male was less than 10 minutes. The in-room dining service was prompt.

Everything was so good except the high prices in the island comparing with other touristic islands in the region.

− Prices are so high. Food prices are so high taking advantage of the distance from city. Activities prices are so high comparing with other islands. No grocery shops available.

A beautiful and spacious resort with a great location and plenty of marine life, but the high prices, basic service, air
+ Spacious resort, plenty of sun loungers, a large and varied buffet, no feeling of crowds, and direct access from the bungalow to the beach. The short boat transfer from the airport is a big advantage, and we saw lots of fish and even sharks early in the morning.
− The coral reef is almost completely destroyed, there is a lot of aircraft noise due to the proximity to the airport, and the housekeeping is minimal. For the high prices, we expected better service. Some guests also wore swimwear to the buffet, while beach parties with music and alcohol until midnight affected the atmosphere at some days.

Amazing Holiday Resort
+ The resort is amazing with excellent facilities from the swimming pools to the gym. It has something for all ages - ranging from kids clubs, water sports and tennis/basketball courts. The beaches are amazing and offer scenic relaxing views. The food options are endless with 6 restaurants offering diverse cuisine options. The staff are extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. A special mention for Mayiz Ibrahim who welcomed us upon arrival and made sure he checked in with us regularly to ensure we had a pleasant experience and had everything we required. The breakfast manager - Rofikul Islam - deserves special praise for ensuring that the food was served to us in an exceptionally delicious standard and provided us with alternative options based on personal preferences. He genuinely made us feel comfortable from the start of the holiday till the end. All round an amazing and unforgettable holiday. Would definitely recommend.

Very relaxing and comfortable for a one night stopover.
+ Very close to Male airport so quick shuttle. Beds were super comfortable. Lots of restaurants and the pool was nice, if a little small.
− Nothing for a short stay but for a longer stay I would move farther from Male and the airport.

+ Nova Kurumba was soo close to the airport it means that you can start your holiday straight away! The staff are exceptionally friendly, welcoming and very helpful! The food was outstanding and the kids club was a phenomenal hit with my 2 girls - we had to beg them to leave. We stayed in the Garden Villa and it was very spacious and clean. A special mention to Sumun, he took great care of our villa and always made sure we had what we needed.
− You can hear all the air traffic from the island, if that is something that would bother you.
