Munduk area is lovely but not highly touristy so don’t expect high end as standard. Perfectly simple meals available but

+ View was lovely. Bed good. Secluded spot so dinner options limited so we ate simply in situ. Staff friendly

− Bed upstairs mezzanine style up a steep wooden staircase/ ladder which was imperfect to visit the bathroom in the middle of the night. We were aware of this but didn’t realize how steep it was.

Amazing! Love to go back for peace and quiet, not suitable if you just want to party!

+ Excellent location as “away from the madding crowd” if time allowed it would be a wonderful place to meditate, read a book and relax.

− If you enjoy nature and peace nothing could be better.

− It's a bit cold at night. No swimming pool, it's only at the private part. Bad sound isolation.

+ La villa est très belle, très grande. Les chambres sont confortables et la vue est très belle, le personnel est très gentil.

The view was nice from the big glass windows/doors on a clear day.

+ I booked 1 rectangle 1 bdrm villa and 2 triangle 1 bdrm villas. The rectangle 1 bdrm villa had sunset, coastal and a bit of mountain views, whereas the triangle 1 bdrm villas had mountain views.

− Property and furniture were old. On the rectangle villa, it was too close to neighbors and was not well sound proofed, we could hear the neighbors. The person in bed could feel vibrations from the wooden floor when the other person walked across the room. Size of the room looked smaller than the photos. Rectangle villas though not far from the reception area, need buggy services in and out of the villa as it was not walkable with very steep slopes. Triangle villas were more ideal -well spaced out from each other, looked bigger in size than the photos, quieter and walkable to the reception area, also they were cheaper in price.

+ The house is spacious and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, the breakfast was quite basic, so we ended up going to a nearby five-star hotel for food, which is only about 500 meters away. Another downside was the lack of ventilation in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The windows could not be opened, so the air felt stale and humid, with a strange smell, as if the rooms had not been properly aired out. This made the stay less comfortable, especially for sleeping. Overall, the place has good potential because of its size, location, and friendly staff, but the breakfast and ventilation definitely need improvement.

+ It's good looking and well maintained, quite spacious. The location itself provides amazing views.

− Sound proofing is the weakest part of this place, and as it's next to the road, you should definitely keep the earplugs, just in case. For us, it was a minor issue.

An excellent remote stay if you're not planning to go out!

+ The location was stunning. The room was great and very comfortable. The fact it was pet friendly is a huge plus—we could bring our dog and have a complete family holiday.

− The location of our villa (the mid-tier, one room villa with jacuzzi and breathtaking view) was quite remote compared to where the front office / check-in desk was. And it was also quite a walk down. It would've been great if we were given a heads up about the location, or have it mentioned in the room description. We brought our car and it was very tiring to walk up and down, especially it being such an extremely steep hill.
