The best hostel! 🌟

+ This is by far the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in- having stayed in well over 200! From the staff to the facilities it’s amazing! The staff remember everyone’s name and treat them like family. From good mornings, to family bbq, to sitting around chatting or playing the guitar and singing it’s amazing! The surf lessons are amazing, and I’ve honestly never learnt so much! The room is immaculate, the extra towels both bath and beach are amazing! There are so many seating areas to chill and chat, the hostel has been incredibly designed. The staff will also sit and chat with you, without hesitation. I recommend to everyone and all ages!

+ Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich, herzlich und gleichzeitig sehr kompetent. Wir haben leider nur eine Nacht dort verbracht, haben uns aber vom ersten Moment an total wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Besonders positiv ist uns die Hilfsbereitschaft in Erinnerung geblieben: Da unser Flug erst später am Tag ging, haben wir gefragt, ob wir nach dem Check-out unsere Sachen noch dort lassen und gegen 16:30 Uhr vor der Fahrt zum Flughafen noch duschen könnten. Die Antwort kam sofort und ohne zu zögern: „Natürlich, auf jeden Fall!“ Uns wurde sogar ein Handtuch zur Verfügung gestellt und wir konnten uns anschließend ganz in Ruhe fertig machen. Genau solche Kleinigkeiten machen einen Aufenthalt besonders! Die gesamte Atmosphäre ist super entspannt und herzlich und vermittelt direkt ein sehr heimeliges Gefühl. Wir hatten ein Privatzimmer und waren wirklich begeistert. Das Zimmer war unglaublich schön und cool eingerichtet – im New-York-Style gestaltet und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail. Wirklich außergewöhnlich und absolut beeindruckend!

+ Le lieu est nouveau, c’est très calme, très agréable. Les dortoirs et les salles de bain sont très bien. Le personnel est très sympa.

− Le personnel passe très tôt le matin dans les chambres, vers 8h30/9h, qui est très tôt si vous souhaitez dormir correctement et sont souvent assez bruyants, il serait mieux de passer plus tard pour respecter le sommeil de tout le monde. Comme l’hostel est nouveau, ils font beaucoup de réglage et de petits travaux ce qui engendre du bruit dans l’ensemble de l’hostel, pas le mieux pour pouvoir chiller au bord de la piscine. Je trouve ça dommage qu’ils ne nous préviennent pas qu’ils font les petits déjeuners (payant), je l’ai seulement découvert à mon dernier jour grâce à un autre voyageur. Dans l’ensemble mon séjour était très bien mais certains réglages sont à revoir…

Ein einzigartiger Ort mit perfekter Atmosphäre – ich komme definitiv wieder!

+ Ich war zwei Wochen im Iron Wave Uluwatu und bin ehrlich gesagt ohne große Erwartungen angekommen. Was ich dann erlebt habe, hat meine Erwartungen bei Weitem übertroffen. So ein Hostel habe ich bisher noch nie erlebt. Das Iron Wave schafft eine unglaublich gute Balance zwischen Ruhe, Aktivitäten und Party. Man kann jederzeit entspannen und seine Ruhe haben, gleichzeitig gibt es immer die Möglichkeit, etwas zu unternehmen, Leute kennenzulernen oder gemeinsam eine gute Zeit zu verbringen. Genau diese Mischung macht den Aufenthalt so besonders. Auch der Staff war außergewöhnlich. Alle waren unglaublich zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und hatten immer ein offenes Ohr. Besonders schön fand ich, dass sich sowohl der Owner als auch die Staffs immer wieder die Zeit für persönliche Gespräche genommen haben. Diese Gespräche und die offene, herzliche Art haben meinen Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz anderem gemacht als einen normalen Hostelaufenthalt. Das Ambiente im Iron Wave ist einfach unglaublich gemütlich und hat eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre. Man fühlt sich nicht wie in einem gewöhnlichen Hostel, sondern eher wie an einem Ort, an den man gerne zurückkommt und an dem man sich schnell zuhause fühlt. Genau das macht für mich den Unterschied. Auch die Lage ist perfekt, um Uluwatu zu erkunden. Man ist schnell überall, hat aber gleichzeitig nicht das Gefühl, mitten im Trubel zu sein. Vielen Dank an den Owner und das gesamte Iron-Wave-Team für die zwei tollen Wochen! Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt wirklich sehr genossen und werde mich definitiv noch lange gerne daran erinnern. Wenn ich wieder in Uluwatu bin, gibt es für mich eigentlich keinen Grund, woanders zu bleiben. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder! 🌞🌸

Comfortable stay, incredible staff, and an amazing place to learn surfing

+ Honestly, I didn't really love Bali until I stayed at this hostel. This place completely changed my perspective. The staff is AMAZING. I really hope our paths cross again someday. The rooms are cleaned every day, the beds are really comfortable, and they provide both face and bath towels. There is plenty of space for your belongings, with lockers and shelves, and the common areas are spotless with lots of space to hang out. I took three private surf lessons here, my first time ever learning to surf. I couldn't have asked for a better introduction. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and make you feel very safe. They choose the right beach for your level, provide boards, towels and surf clothes, and take you to and from the beach. We did both technical training and practical sessions, including pool training and video analysis. I learned so much and had such a great experience. If you want to learn to surf, I can't think of a better place to start. Ruly, the hostel owner, made my stay incredibly easy and helped me so much even while I was travelling around other islands in Indonesia. He practically planned my itinerary for me, and I feel very lucky our paths crossed. Ren also made everything easier and was always there to help. I'll miss starting my mornings with Aldo's iced lattes (best iced latte I ever had) Riki and Wallet, my amazing surf coaches, thank you for teaching me so much and always making me feel safe. Spicey, I'll miss your songs and how you made every day more fun! Justine, my friend and an amazing photographer, thank you for capturing those precious three seconds when I finally stood up on the wave, and for introducing me to your crew and making my time even more special. And to the rest of the team, thank you for making me feel at home. I'll miss starting every morning with your smiles. I hope you all come to Istanbul one day so I can host you. I'll definitely be back.

+ Tolle Atmosphäre - es fühlt sich schnell an wie ein zweites Zuhause. Alles ist noch richtig neu, sehr schön eingerichtet einfach zum Wohlfühlen.. Die Unterkunft hat gerade erst aufgemacht und es ist zu merken die Betreiber sind mit dem Herz voll dabei. Danke euch, ich hoffe ich komme noch einmal wieder!

Habe mich hier direkt wohlgefühlt – gemütliches Bett, entspannte Atmosphäre - einfach perfekt.

+ Ich habe im ganz neu eröffneten Iron Wave Uluwatu eine Nacht verbracht und war begeistert. Es ist modern, sauber und hat ein wirklich cooles Design. Mein Einzelbett war sehr bequem und durch den Vorhang hatte man trotz Schlafsaal angenehm viel Privatsphäre. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt und unkompliziert . Auch die Lage ist super, besonders wenn man surfen oder die Gegend erkunden möchte. Insgesamt habe ich mich sehr wohlgefühlt und kann Iron Wave definitiv weiterempfehlen. Ich würde immer wieder hier übernachten, wenn ich in der Gegend bin.
