Each one has a flat-screen TV with multilingual satellite channels and a work desk. Some rooms feature sea views. At Dion Bar and Restaurant, guests can enjoy regional dishes including lamb stews, seafood dishes and local spirits. The restaurant features large windows overlooking Bosphorus. Grand Star Hotel is less than a 2-minute walk from Taksim Metro Station and less than a 20-minute drive from popular attractions such as Blue Mosque. Ataturk Airport is 9.9 mi away while Istanbul Airport is 32 mi away. Please note that the pool is currently closed. The spa and wellness center remains open and is available for guests. Ok, with this price and location.
+ The most important is that the accommodation is near to the taksim square. The staff is also good.
− There was a strange smell in all the hotel and the water smells like chlorine as like the swimming pool, and also there were ants in the rooms.

Good value for money hotel in central Istambul
+ The hotel is large, close to Taksim square, just 2 blocks away from Istiklak Caddesi. 24-hour front desk.

− I was in room 1102 (1st floor). The noise from the street WITH CLOSED windows was horrendous all evening. It was as if there was no window there. Thankfully they moved us to floor 5 the next day which was fine but that room (1102) was horrendous for noise

Nice hotel.Great location.
+ Staff were very kind & helpful. Location amazing & no noise in hotel at night. Breakfast seemed to suit the Turkish palate.That said the coffee & juice were nice.
