تجربه غیر موفقه لا انصح. We stayed there for 5 days and it was the worst thing during my travel to istanbul. The breakfast was repeated every day and there are no variety of options. Also, they ask to pay 2$ more if you want an omelet which is strange and first time to see. Not to forget the air conditioning, it was not working and everyday we have to call the reception to bring someone in order to make it cooler. Only the location was good. last time to try it.

Excellent Stay at Grand Halic Golden Horn Hotel
We stayed as a family of 8 people in 4 rooms and had a wonderful stay. We were very satisfied with everything.
The location is perfect, very close to the Golden Horn and the T5 tram station (Fener), which makes it very easy to reach Laleli, Grand Bazaar and Eminönü.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and housekeeping was excellent. Managing 4 rooms for a large family was handled perfectly.
I would like to sincerely thank the reception team for their kind and warm hospitality. Special thanks to the Reception Manager (unfortunately I didn't ask his name) who welcomed us so warmly on our arrival day, and particularly to Ms. Helal and Mr. Musa and Mr. Haibatulah who were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. They made our stay much more enjoyable.
Also, the breakfast staff were very hardworking, active and attentive and deserve great appreciation. The breakfast was varied and fresh.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and we highly recommend this hotel to everyone, especially for families.

Wonderful Stay with a Beautiful Sea View
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel in Şişhane. The location is excellent, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the sea view is absolutely beautiful. Waking up to such a lovely view made our stay even more enjoyable.
The staff were friendly, helpful, and very attentive throughout our stay. Everything was well organized, and we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived.
The hotel offers a great combination of comfort, location, cleanliness, and excellent service. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.

There was no toothbrush or toothpaste, nor an iron or sewing kit; the cooling system was noisy, the water wasn't replenished, and they charged $1.50 for a bottle of water.

Great location and friendly staff, but the rooms are outdated and quite noisy.

The hotel’s biggest advantage is definitely its location. It’s about a 5 minute walk to Galata Tower and around 15 minutes to Taksim Square, with plenty of cafés, restaurants, and public transport nearby.
The staff were genuinely kind and professional. Reception was always helpful, and the housekeeping team cleaned the room every day and changed towels regularly. The bed itself was comfortable.

Unfortunately, there are several downsides. The sound insulation is very poor you can easily hear noise from other rooms and the hallway. The Wi-Fi was only average, and both the air conditioning and ventilation were quite loud. The pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable.
The hotel advertises itself as a 4-star property with a pool, but the rooms feel dated and could really use renovation. The curtains, furniture, and bathroom show their age, and there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom during my stay. Breakfast was acceptable, but nothing memorable.
One more observation: this is not meant as a comment about any nationality, but some guests behaved very disrespectfully in the common areas
putting their feet on the lobby furniture and being excessively loud during breakfast. That affected the overall atmosphere more than the hotel itself.
Overall, I’d recommend Grand Halic Hotel for travelers looking for a budget-friendly stay in a great location, as long as they don’t expect a modern 4-star experience.

A stressful and deeply disappointing family stay with serious room safety and maintenance problems and very poor customer service.

The attitude of some staff was the worst part. When we complained about the problems, we were treated rudely and were effectively told that if we didn’t like it, we could leave. Breakfast was very basic and disappointing, and we also experienced problems with the lift.
