A wonderful welcoming hotel
+ The staff were sooo friendly. We loved our chats with the manager each day and we would use google translate to have conversations with him. The staff were welcoming and always helpful when we had a question and attentive to anything we needed.

Exceptional
+ It was comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. They were very kind and spoke some English so that was very helpful.
− It was a little challenging to navigate the hills and streets to get to the hotel but I think that is just how Istanbul is.

Area was a bit dodgy even though I appreciated it being close to attractions
+ Beautiful rooms and decor
− Last leg of our journey and we were dropped off down the road as the taxi wouldn't go down the narrow road, once there there was very little communication available, and we're told to haul our bags up the flights of stairs ourselves making a very unpleasant welcome.

It was the first hotel we came to when we arrived in Istanbul and it was easy enough to travel from to all the tourist a
+ Liked that the place was clean and modern and also very easy access to the T1 tramline. Besides the language barrier all the staff were great and tried their best to assist when needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
− There was no elevator but luckily we were on the 1st floor but for others it could be a mission going up with suitcases. Also the staircase is quite steep. We were 3 females in a room so the room was quite cramped but other than that we enjoyed our stay! Also the Wi-Fi could be abit spotty at times but worked for the most part.

Nice rooms.
+ Lovely rooms, nice and clean.
− Hotel itself is very nice but the location was quite rough and dirty. A few blocks away felt much safer.

Pleasant
+ Staff is very kind and helpful, and the hotel is located in a central area (15mins walk from the main attractions). Rooms are nice and clean, there is functioning AC and toilets are nice as well.
− The only downside is the breakfast, which is really not good and not buffet style as they advertised
