Cadre enchanteur mais avis mitigé

Un séjour un peu plus mitigé dans ce logement, qui ne manque pourtant pas de charme. Les bruits des animaux et de la rivière créent une atmosphère très reposante. Quelques éléments abîmés mériteraient toutefois d’être réparés ou remplacés. Nous avons également dîné sur place : les portions de poisson étaient vraiment très petites et le prix des boissons nous a semblé un peu élevé. Un joli cadre, mais quelques points à améliorer.

This place was amazing! What a beautiful location and bamboo house. So peaceful bring right on the river. Staff were super friendly and attentive. We loved our stay here!

We loved how unique it was, with a river running in our back yard, how private it was.
I loved the beds and pool, staff was friendly and always there to help. It really had a wow factor

It was pretty far out away from restaurants and up very beaten roads, but thats the fun of it. We had our scooter so we travelled around a bit

A completely ruined trip disguised as a ‘private’ getaway.

Absolutely nothing was good about the place

I booked this villa specifically for privacy, which is exactly what was advertised. but what I got was the complete opposite. Let me be very clear: there is absolutely nothing private about these “private” pools. My entire villa was visible from the neighboring units, and anyone passing by could look straight into my pool and bedroom.
The worst part? A group of naked men were standing right in front of my villa, staring directly at us. When I complained, the manager casually said, “The river is public” and that there was nothing they could do about people looking inside my room and pool. So much for “privacy.”
The villa itself felt abandoned and completely open to the jungle. From the moment I walked in, insects, lizards, and all kinds of creatures were already inside. A frog literally jumped on me while I was on the bed. That was the final straw.
I left within two hours of arriving, and I had booked for three nights.
This was, without exaggeration, one of the most disappointing and unacceptable stays I’ve ever experienced. Nothing here matched what was advertised. If you value privacy, comfort, or even basic cleanliness, do yourself a favor and avoid this place completely.

Totally private and beautiful villa with private pool. Super comfortable bed and good facilities with food available to order directly to the villa.

I didn’t like only having a curtain downstairs and no door, plus even though there’s a door to upstairs bedroom, there is a large gap above that bats etc can get in.

Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by a very unpleasant incident. The same staff member responsible for check-in and check-out charged us again for something we had already paid for, and later completely denied it in front of us. Management did nothing to resolve the issue. When someone in such a trusted position can look you in the eye and deny what they have done, it takes away your sense of security. Sadly, we felt unsafe during our entire stay because of this.

We were amazed by this villa.

Such a beautiful and spacious place, uniquely built out of bamboo. We really enjoyed every part of it: one feels immersed in the nature, yet enjoying very comfort.

Being so immersed in the nature and open, it’s easy for small animals and insects to enter, which can make it a bit annoying if someone is paranoid about it. The mosquito nets on the beds and the glass-door isolated room upstairs do their trick though.
