Very intimate Private Island experience

+ The coral reef and colourful marine life were absolutely amazing. We loved snorkeling and exploring the beautiful underwater world. Our beach villa was wonderful, and the open-air shower was definitely one of the highlights. The views from the room were beautiful, and relaxing on the sunbeds right next to the beach was the perfect way to unwind. The speedboat transfer was also very luxurious and made the journey even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic and relaxing experience!

+ Everything was absolutely amazing. The place, the quietness, the level of service, the atmosphere. A very special thanks to Ms. Mamta, who took care of us at the restaurant. Probably one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited, if not the most beautiful. Simply a fairytale.

Magical

+ I had the most wonderful couple of days at Dhawa Ihuru. I chose the location for its convenient location close to Malé and for its exceptional house reef. The staff were absolutely brilliant. It’s a small Island, which feels remote and quiet. It’s a place where you just escape from the world, away from the hustle and bustle. It’s super quiet - in many ways it’s a little sanctuary - a place of peace and calm. While I was there I snorkelled from sunrise to sunset. If you love snorkelling there’s a whole underwater world on your doorstep. I swam with Black Tip and White Tip Reef Sharks, Green Sea Turtles, Hawksbill Sea Turtles, Octopus, Eagle Rays and every type of fish. I also discovered Painted Lobster hiding under the coral. I booked a Manta trip and just 35 minutes away by speedboat, I swam with many Manta Ray, one of the best Manta swims I’ve ever had. I wanted to thank Najaah, Iyadh, Eni, Waris, Aidai, Aini and all the team at Dhawa Ihuru for making my stay so special.

Incredible; will be back

+ Food was amazing with good variety and fun alternating forms (buffet, alacarte). Reef was barely 10 steps from the beach which made snorkeling so accessible. Staff were all incredibly friendly — with many really making the effort to make our children feel at home and comfortable. Shoutout to Moos and the dining staff, Aimee, Hannah, and the cleaning crew for making each day so special!

− Events on the island could be advertised more prominently rather than through word of mouth eg kid centre events :)

+ Wonderful holidays in a great place. All the personnel was nice and friendly, appreciated cleanless of our villa that was cleaned few times a day. Wonderful reef and snorkeling. We stayed at villas 19 and 20 and they both had such a great access to the sea and wide beach. I would not hesitate to return anytime to this little paradise that you can walk around in less than 15 mins :)

It was a perfect few relaxation days.

+ This small, intimate resort was the perfect place for my son and I to chill after a week on a scuba liveaboard. The bungalows are comfortable and lovely Each one has their patch of beach from which you can walk into the water and snorkel the excellent house reef. The entire staff was so kind and courteous. In response to some comments about children, yes it’s family friendly but really not an issue. There were a few toddlers but mostly the children were quiet and unobtrusive

− My only disappointment was that masala chai wasn’t on the breakfast drinks menu.

+ The reef is beautiful, vital and vibrant. I like that there is a marine center taking care of the reef. The food was very good. Fine quality and large variety of dishes: asian, mediterranean, local Maldivian, vegan, fruits, fish and meat steaks. It was my second time here, and I want to return in future.

− The beach didn't look as beautiful as before because of the erosion and beach conservation activities.

Best Personalized experience and stay for couples

+ everything From the moment we landed in the airport, until taking us back to the terminal. The Hospitality of the team at the property is unmatched! the calm vibes of the island and the taste of the food although its not a huge variety because its a small island yet the food taste in general is amazing. the Spa service for couples was so great that we booked twice in two days!. they even organized a special dinner arrangement for us on our anniversary without telling us! that was an awesome experience. adding to that a free room upgrade and without even highlighting that to us as an extra service! it felt like we are super cared for all the time. believe me you will never see the type of personalized hospitality in this island else where and thats why we will surely go back.

− honestly nothing in the hotel. but we tried to book a restaurant in the other bigger island to celebrate our anniversary. however it felt like a waste! paid for a fine dine experience but the food was horrible! the worst wagu steak ive tried and wished we had eaten in our island instead it would have been much tastier for sure. keep that in mind.
