Peaceful gate away

+ The garden, just amazing how much love they put in it and you can feel and see it back! Putu and his wife were so sweet, helpfull and kind! Gooday was a great hiking guide! Was able to tell us everything he knew.

− We had to get used to the jungle sounds and animals. We knew we stay remote just something we forgot about. Its not bad just good to know and once you used to it quite peaceful. A scooter is handy, you can rent one from Putu for a good price. This way you can get around more easy and the road is good. For breakfast maybe an boiled or cooked egg instead of noodles. But they made ours more early on the day of departure! Over all its been amazing!

You can stop searching, this is the best place!

+ Absolutely everything. This place is absolute serenity. The immaculate garden, the never ending view, the hospitality of Putu and his family, just wow! We left for onward travels but would have loved to spend the rest of our trip there! There are hiking/walking trails you can access directly from the property, too!

Authentic Bali experience

+ Dreamy location between jungle and rice fields with volcano view, charming and comfortable rooms, delicious food freshly cooked at every meal by the wife, wonderful hospitality, great value for money. Places like these are the reason why Bali is still Bali.

Paradise on earth

+ This place is paradise. It was the best stay during our four weeks in Indonesia. We spent three nights there and loved every minute of it. Putu and his family are just the nicest hosts and make you really feel at home. But the best part is that you are really in the middle of nature, right in the most beautiful tropical rainforest of Bali. This already starts with the garden of the ecolodge, with all the beautiful trees and plants and flowers. You really feel one with nature . If you just walk from the garden there is a path with the most amazing views of the mountains, the jungle and the rice paddies along which you can walk amongst the local people, who are all very friendly. This is surely one of the most authentic and natural parts of Bali, of just such stunning beauty and far away from the mass tourism of the coastal areas. On our first full day Putu took us into the real jungle, which was an amazing experience also beca use he’s such an excellent guide and really knows the jungle, the nature, and told us a lot about the kind sof medicine you could get from various plants. Here people still live in harmony with nature, and do so in a spiritual way. The food they offer is also excellent: simple meals, but wholly organic and locally produced and very tasty. You can also do a great private car tour and we did one with friend of the family, Kadek. We visited amongst others the beautiful Jatiluwih Rice Terraces. All in all, our stay at the ecolodge was one of our top experiences during what overall was an unforgettable trip to Indonesia.

In the heart of Bali

+ I didn't hear a car, motorbike, mosque, dog, or chicken the entire time. Although there were plenty of tropical birds singing all day. Great views of the rice fields and long hikes. Living in Bali for 40 years sets the bar very high for our expectations. If you want to get the true Bali vibe, this is your type of place. Pak Putu and his wife were also very accommodating. Suksema we will be back

A special place with wonderful hosts

+ Putu and Made were generous hosts with warm, welcoming energy. Jungle trekking with Putu was a special experience, his knowledge and wisdom which we will take with us for a lifetime! We so appreciated the communities welcoming attitude, and we would love to come back. The room had everything we needed, and the grounds are incredibly beautiful. Such a special place.

Wonderful.

+ Everything. The gardens and surrounding mountains, simple stunning. Putu and Made and children delightful and warm. A couple of gorgeous cats too! The food that Made makes is delicious every time! Also the rooms have everything you need, such a pleasure waking to the gardens, the birds, the mountains :)

Perfect relaxed accommodation in paradise with wonderful host family.

+ Everything was perfect. The wonderful hosts, jungle location, comfort of the room and facilities were all perfect. We travel on a scooter so it was easy to visit the surrounding area which is stunning. Highly recommend.
