Great boutique hotel in a lovely location with friendly staff.

+ A lovely small boutique hotel in an area full of excellent bars and restaurants, within walking distance of the seaside. The rooms are small but comfortable, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Having parking available was a godsend. Highly recommended. Unfortunately, I left my headphones behind, but hopefully I’ll be able to collect them on my next visit.

− You need to be a confident driver to navigate the narrow alleys, but that is part of the charm of the place

Exceptional

+ The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I had a great night's sleep thanks to the very comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice, and the location was excellent.

− Nothing really. I had an excellent stay. I had requested a room on a higher floor, and the receptionist arranged it immediately without any hassle. I really appreciated that extra attention and helpfulness.

An amazing stay with a personal touch!

+ Stayed for 5 nights in an amazing hotel with amazing service. Family run it has that personal touch. The location is truly one the best features, a short stroll to the blue mosque, cistern and other major attractions. We hardly needed a taxi. The breakfast was well prepared and very tasty and the girls attended to all our needs. The staff went out of their way for us collecting our laundry, walking with us for directions, advising on best prices etc. Special mention to the young lad at reception, he was so nice and helpful and went out of his way to help us. The rooms are compact but functional clean and comfortable. It’s a small hotel and being at the end of a road hardly any through traffic or noise. I would book again for sure!

Perfect Location, Friendly Staff & Wonderful Breakfast

+ I absolutely loved the location of the accommodation. It was very close to all the city’s main and most beautiful mosques, and you could easily visit them all on foot in just 15 minutes. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and welcoming. I’d also like to highlight the wonderful breakfast, which was a fantastic way to start each day. Highly recommended!

Recommended for the position!

+ The position of the hotel is perfect, 10 minutes close to all the main attractions such as Ayasofya Mosque, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Basilica Cistern. The room was very clean and the breakfast is nice (you cannot chose between options, they serve Turkish breakfast with cheese, olives, eggs, bread, cake/cookies and you can choose what to drink). The hotel has a private parking right in front of its entrance, so no need to walk around with suitcases.

− There is no elevator (it might be a problem for someone) and our room at the 3rd floor was small for two people. The bathroom and the bedroom were almost the same size! Once arrived we picked our outfits for the whole stay since we had no space to keep the suitcase opened. However, I think the size of the room depends from the fact that the building is ancient. The guys at the reception are very nice, but I will suggest to improve the English (actually is an issue in most hotels we stayed at).

+ The staff were extremely kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived, always ready to help with a smile. The room was clean and nice. The location is good— right next to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Hippodrome, so we could walk everywhere. The building is old, so you can hear noise from upstairs, but we knew this beforehand and it wasn't a problem for us.

− The staff didn't speak any English, which made it difficult to communicate. The hairdryer broke and it took until the third day for them to bring a replacement. The shower head sprayed water in every direction instead of just downward. The bathroom ceiling was dripping water, and they had forgotten to empty the trash bin in the bathroom before we checked in. The building is old, so you can hear noise from upstairs, but we knew this beforehand and it wasn't a problem for us.
