Overall good stay

+ Nice pool and clean rooms

− Was trying too hard to be a party hostel but was a very nice stay met some new people

I don’t recommend, they don’t adjust dates, no refund, and property is too dirty

+ Location

− Lack Cleanliness, long unreasonable house rules. Make sure you read it before confirming. Staff were always hard to find either they’re in the bar or laying down in the “lobby”. Music is very loud until midnight. So sleeping before midnight would be almost impossible

Too little people in july due to the low season, so a little bit boring.

+ A modern place with a nice pool and comfy rooms.

− 50 baht for a towel (not deposit, you have to pay it).

− I was charged 500 Baht for checking out at 1 PM. It’s not about the money, it’s about the principle. I’m a returning guest with more than five bookings here. I’ve always been on time, extended my stay, and even recommended this place to friends. A little flexibility would have been appreciated, but instead I was charged almost half a night’s price. Unfortunately, this experience means Zostel won’t be my first choice anymore.

Clean and comfortable stay but not a very social hostel if you are looking to meet people.

+ The rooms were spacious and the facilities were clean

− The hostel was not very social and although the signs say quiet hours were from 10pm, there was karaoke one night until past midnight. We would have liked to join in on this but it was not advertised and instead, we were just kept awake by it.

+ The hotel is in a good location, and the rooms are generally new.

− I think the main problem is that the rooms aren't cleaned enough; some rooms had a bad smell, the bathrooms weren't clean enough, and the sheets were sometimes not clean enough. I have no doubt about the staff's good intentions, but attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and linens. I also think that some of the malfunctions in certain rooms should be checked

Good Value and Nice Facilities, But Very Noisy at Night

+ The facilities were nicely decorated and well maintained, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The value for money was great and definitely worth it. The location was also very convenient — about 10 minutes from the beach and around 30 minutes from Bangla Road. It wasn’t right in the center, but it also wasn’t too far away from everything.

− The reason I’m giving a lower rating than I would have liked is because the noise levels made it very difficult to rest. The music is supposed to stop at 11 pm, but you can still hear people shouting and making noise around the pool until 2 or even 3 am. It was almost impossible to fall asleep. Although the hostel is not located right in the center, it still doesn’t offer a calm or peaceful atmosphere at night. Unfortunately, without proper respect for quiet hours, it’s very hard to rest and fully enjoy the stay.
