Very Good

+ The staff was really helpful. They gave us a free upgrade to our room because me and my partner had some last minute inconvenience that led us to extend our stay at zostel. They were quite understanding to our difficulties that they helped us continue to use the room we were allocated from the start without having to move another room.. That really helped us take the load off from the stress we were going through since we are new to mumbai as well! The amenities were also quite good. Its a great place for those who need a comfortable quaint stay!

Very Good

+ The Food at the cafe is value for money, although bit pricey but as compared to other options available nearby it is at par and quality and taste wise it is much better. The staff is courteous and prompt in attending to any call for room service or any other issue and try to resolve to the extent possible. Overall lot of common places to hang around with people with minimum restriction.

− The cafe close at 10, which is very early and secondly many times the AC doesnt work in the rooms

+ it is good for short stay, clean and staff is responsive. Although it was better maintained few years back but in Mumbai at the price, it makes for a great stay!

− The price is fairly high considering the size of the room. Also, the AC failed and required multiple follow ups to get it fixed.

Appreciation and small request.

+ Assistance by staff and facilities.

− I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. There was no provision for bed cleaning unless requested. I believe for guests staying 2 or more nights, there should be compulsory bed cleaning and change of linens as required. (Genuine Feedback) Though this does not made my experience of staying at Zostel bad but thought of giving this feedback.

+ Had a fantastic time at Zostel Mumbai! The community managers were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience memorable. They created a great vibe, helped with local recommendations, and made everyone feel like part of the community. Now I know exactly where I'm staying next time I'm in Mumbai. Highly recommend for anyone looking for good hospitality and a solid hostel experience!

The great indian hospitality!

+ I really enjoyed how Zostel created many different spaces to be, a study room, the friendzone, the canteen. Big thanks for the amazing staff who made my stay perfect. Even tho I might have been the only european person at that time, i was welcomed with open arms. No second I felt stange or alone! The staff helps you untill the end for whatever you need. I was travelling with big sport equipments and it was no problem it to be stored but the staff also helped me arranging the taxi to the airport. I would recomend Zostel to everyone especially foreigners who want to connect to indian culture and hospitality! Thank you again for making my stay a wonderful adventure 🙏
