Five-Star Quality in an All-Inclusive

+ Brilliant hotel. An exceptional value for the money. Rooms: modern and clean, with your minibar serviced and refilled daily at no charge. Bedding was excellent as was insulation. We had a view of the ocean and pool, and could even hear the music in the evening without going down. Food: High qualify and varied. Plenty of salads and there is an outdoor grill. The speciality fish restaurant was A+ and surprisingly underused. We found the food to be as good as any place we stayed and we did put on weight. Drinks: Free and high quality. Top shelf too. I have never seen that before at an all-inclusive hotel. Pools: Several and all excellent. The only issue I had was with the main pool. The steps into the pool are unfinished concrete and you can scratch your feet if you aren't careful. Beach: The only potential downside. Very rocky. It's a shame they do not bring in sand like many 5-star hotels. That said, there were plenty of sunbeds and umbrella and you never have to worry about getting an excellent place. No need to get up early albeit there were one or two "sunbed pirates who staked out chairs by the pool at 6am".

A nice sunny relaxing week in September

+ The hotel is situated on a large secured grounds. We were in one of 12 one floor buildings grouped in pairs in a wooded area centred around a largish pool (1.40m), 2-3 minutes from the main hotel building. In front of the building there were other pools and for swimming another shallow for younger children. Around all pools there were plenty of deck chairs and we were always able to find available. But every day we walked 4-5 minutes down to the beach and a large pier with a lot of deckchairs. The beach also had two A la carte restaurants , of which the Italian was open during the day, but also had another bar on the pier until 6PM ! We ate every day at the main restaurant which was large and had a good range of cooked food , salads and fruit. While it was busy , we always found somewhere to sit and never waited. Seating was both inside ( with aircon ) and outside shaded but windows fully open or under a shade canopy. The staff were numerous and generally attentive. It was busy so sometimes you needed to wave for attention , but this was met with a smile. The bedroom was quiet , the bed was comfy and room was clean. The cleaner team was visible every day and ready for any requests. I indicated that I have a gluten allergy and they provided me with a piece of paper to present in the restaurant any time I needed advice on the food. As there was plenty of salad, vegetables and grilled food I had no problems. In the evening , there was a bar area near the hotel pool as well as the main hotel reception area, as well as a night club nearer the beach which opened later in the evening.... far from the residential area. Overall a very positive week

− There wasn't really anything negative to mention. The only point I would say is that while the sea was warm , the sand was nearly always agitated and so not clear. So while people went for a dip or a swim , there was no snorkling.

Beautiful, Relaxing, and Child-Friendly Stay

+ The whole resort was very well maintained. We were staying with a baby and every aspect of the property and service made it very relaxing. We usually do not spend so much money on hotels but we were very satisfied with our stay here. The fact that some of the a la carte restaurants are included in the booking price was an excellent bonus, the service and food there was great.

− The rooms specifically the design is vey dated for instance the floor light was terrible, i think the tv should be hanged so that there is more space on the desk and the mirror next to the sitting area should be moved in front of the desk, Many women would find it more convenient since they do their makeup( please more light). The Floors should be updated to parquet flooring since its easier to clean, rather than carpet flooring since that holds on to more dirt.

+ Xanadu offered us many activities and facilities to enjoy 5 days of staying there: a beautiful property with an amazing entry, very friendly staff, very clean and spacious pools, enough beach beds available, a great buffet selection, a spa with a sauna that has approriate temperature (above 80 degrees celcius, as a Finnish sauna should be, but import to note that we did not see this in other sauna's in Turkey!), activities such as darts, bingo, pilates, yoga, archery, airgun shooting, a gym, dance theater shows, an arcade with bowling alley, little souvenir and clothing stores. Special thanks to MR. WILLY WONKA and ZACH who were really great!

− The rooms by themselves were relatively outdated, mainly the bathrooms could be renovated. Xanadu offers a number of restaurants aside from the main buffet restaurant. All of these required an extra charge. This was not what we expected from an all inclusive resort where you already pay over 250€ per night. The majority of the guests was Russian and the staff addressed us, as white Europeans, in Russian before English all the time, which made each interaction a little awkward.

An Excellent Family Resort with Beautiful Nature, Superb Food, and Outstanding Potential

+ We recently stayed at Xanadu Resort Belek for a family summer vacation, and overall, it was a very enjoyable and memorable experience. The resort has many qualities that make it an excellent choice for families, although there are a few areas where I believe the hotel could significantly improve. 🌿 A beautiful resort surrounded by nature One of the things I appreciated most about Xanadu was the beautiful natural environment and enormous, well-maintained grounds. The resort is exceptionally spacious, with mature trees, lush gardens, ponds, walking paths, bridges and numerous quiet corners. It doesn’t feel like a conventional large hotel complex; rather, it feels like a beautiful holiday village integrated into nature. The landscaping gives the resort a special character and creates a very relaxing atmosphere, particularly in the evenings when walking around the property. 🍽️ Superb food and excellent barbecue The food was one of the highlights of our stay. The main restaurant offered a very impressive variety, with good-quality ingredients and plenty of choices for different tastes. I particularly enjoyed the barbecue and grilled dishes, which were consistently among the best options. The quality and variety of the grilled meats were excellent and added considerably to the overall dining experience. The resort also deserves credit for offering a broad range of food throughout the day, so it was generally easy to find something enjoyable whether you wanted a full meal or a lighter option. 🎭 Excellent evening entertainment The evening shows were another strong point. There was good diversity in the entertainment program, and the professional performances were among the most enjoyable aspects of our evenings. For a family resort, having genuinely entertaining evening programs rather than simply basic animation makes a significant difference, and Xanadu performed very well in this regard.

− Despite the many positives, I do have some criticisms that I hope the management will take constructively. 👦 Kids Club — disappointing compared with the quality of the resort The biggest disappointment for us was the Kids Club. Considering the size, reputation and overall quality of Xanadu, I expected the children’s program to be much more engaging and energetic. Unfortunately, some of the staff appeared insufficiently enthusiastic and proactive, and they did not always succeed in attracting the children’s attention or creating an exciting atmosphere. The facilities themselves have considerable potential, but the human element is what makes a Kids Club successful, and I think this is an area where Xanadu could invest more in training, motivation and genuinely energetic children’s entertainers. 😐 Lack of enthusiasm from some staff More generally, I occasionally felt that some members of the entertainment/animation team lacked the energy, enthusiasm and emotional engagement expected from a high-end family resort. This is particularly noticeable when comparing Xanadu with the best family resorts in Belek, where the animation teams actively interact with guests and create an atmosphere rather than simply carrying out scheduled activities. Xanadu has an excellent physical infrastructure; I believe more passionate and energetic staff could elevate the experience considerably. 🍴 À la carte restaurants — an important criticism My other significant criticism concerns the à la carte restaurants and their additional charges. Xanadu has an impressive selection of dining venues, but I found it disappointing that several of these restaurants were not included in the accommodation rate and required additional payment. For a resort positioned at this level and operating an all-inclusive concept, I believe guests should receive more complimentary access to its specialty restaurants.

+ The hotel is really great and above expectations! Staff is nice, beach, rope park, other kids facilities are great. Food is decent too. In May it wasn't crowded. Our kid had a birthday and they organized a nice dinner in the beach restaurant with a cake. So highly recommend for families.

− - We stayed here in May and water in all pools was kinda cold, only the baby pool is warm. So I wish they could warm up water at least for kids' slides. Water in the spa pool also was cold, indoor pool isn't working during the main season as well. - It's better to book taxi yourself or via Booking - we paid 30 EUR for transfer via Booking vs 80 EUR for transfer organized by the hotel.

− The food can have much more variety and better in quality, it was quite monotonous when it came to the buffet. Also, the bungalow had 3 rooms, but just one bathroom.
