+ We had a lovely stay at this charming little hotel in the heart of Baku’s Old City. The location is truly special right in the historic centre, with the seaside boulevard, parks, shopping, restaurants and many of the city’s main attractions all within walking distance. The hotel is small, cozy and intimate, and for such a pleasant price, it offers very good value for money. Of course, don’t expect a luxury hotel experience - but if you are looking for a clean, cozy place with a great location and a reasonable price, this is a lovely option. A special thank you to Elmin and Ali at reception. They were absolutely adorable - kind, attentive, genuinely helpful and always happy to assist. Their warm hospitality really made our stay more enjoyable. ❤️ One useful tip for future guests: taxis cannot normally drive directly into the Old City, as access is restricted to residents and hotel staff. It’s best to contact the hotel in advance and ask them to arrange or book a taxi for you, especially when arriving with luggage. The breakfast is simple and somewhat repetitive, but everything is prepared fresh every morning, which we really appreciated. Overall, a charming little hotel with a fantastic location, lovely staff and very good value for the price. We would happily stay here again.

− Paying with card turned out to be difficult. Normally, who cares? But Ive had a lot of trouble getting cash from ATMs. In the end, I paid in USD and they made it easy!

+ Very friendly helpful team, giving one a warm welcome upon arrival to Baku. The room service and breakfast were great. Location is perfect for sightseeing in the old-town, and for walks on the sea-side. Good public transport connections. Would recommend to anyone visiting the city for the first time.

− The last floor of the building overheats, and the beautiful view comes together with the need to ventilate the rooms before going to bed.

+ This is a very lovely hotel in the middle of the old city. The interior is charming and the staff is awesome.

− Unfortunately, despite the fantastic nice people at the front desk, they serve breakfast starting at 8.30. First morning they moved fast. Today I was downstairs at 8.28 but he started setting up the tables and starting to work on breakfast at 8.30 and actually I received tea and food at 8.48. This caused a significant delay in my travel plans and arrival late at the airport. The location of the hotel requires internet and active data to follow directions. There are no signs for the hotel on the street until you reach it. (Like it seems all the hotels in the old city). The room is generously appointed and cozy but the fridge in the closet is useless without a plug, just as well the tray for making tea/coffee with no plug. The air conditioner is great but it cannot work without batteries in the remote. The bed is squeaky and the brass handles in the bathroom are falling off the wall. The batteries in the fire detectors need to be changed, they beeped continously for the last 24 hours. Seriously?
