Super comfy, convenient, well equipped room with good aesthetic

+ Very comfy bed, great location, great services - fridge, safe and kettle and laundry faciliites. Concierge open quite late and helpful.

− Loud house music playing in the concierge entrance and i could very ocasionally hear the bass in my room at night. Pipes gurgle when someone else is having a shower. Im sensitive to noise and this isnt enough to stop me from staying again. It was pretty ideal for my needs.

+ The place is superb, good location with no traffic, near Arbat Street. The decorations are minimal yet vibrant. Easy check-in system. We did laundry for the long stay. I really love UY.

Loved it so much!

+ Where to begin- Urban Yurt was homely, cosy, comfortable, beautifully designed and decorated, and spotlessly clean. It is a wonderfully central location- we walked essentially everywhere for our entire stay- and really easy to reach from the airport. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful and greeted us warmly each morning. It was simple to check in and out- especially as we had very early morning arrival and departure- and, if I’m honest, it felt like a second home. Filtered water, washing machine, dryer, toothbrushes, razors, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap as well as dishes & cutlery are all provided- making our stay easy and comfortable. If I could, I would live in Urban Yurt! It was tremendous and I can confidently say I will be recommending this to everyone I know and will be coming back as soon as possible. Don’t miss out on this cosy, homely and modern location when you’re planning your Almaty trip! Көп көп рақмет!

+ We loved the overall vibe and cozyness of the place. It feels like a home rather than a room which is really nice. Has all the amenities you can think of even for a small ish room. The owner kindly arranged a transfer for us as well which went very smoothly.

Wonderful stay in a great location

+ Fantastic city guesthouse. My husband and I loved our stay - the room was beautiful with a comfortable bed, clean bathroom and kitchenette facilities (microwave, dishes, etc). You also had access to washing machine and dryer + filtered water. The location was excellent for exploring Almaty.

+ the accommodation was nicely done up. comfortable bed, strong wifi, TV with netflix, strong shower water pressure, microwave + fridge and some basic cutlery location was great. walking distance to the night street, eateries and local malls

− 1. wished there was an elevator. else u will have to carry your luggage up multiple flights of stairs 2. on the day of arrival, there was a power grid failure. that was uncomfortable as the electricity was out and the room was stuffy until later in the evening / night. the water pressure was to a trickle. there was no heated water for shower. The facilities only turned back to normal the following morning

+ Urban Yurt had the feel of a nice little studio apartment. The owners and staff are all warm and helpful. I especially liked that they left nice music playing and a light on in my room given that I arrived in the middle of the night.

+ I usually don’t write reviews, but this place truly deserves one — it’s exceptional! This must be the coziest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. The aesthetics, the atmosphere, the little details — everything is just perfect. The place is incredibly clean, the manager and staff are super friendly, and the hotel is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Each floor even has its own laundry machines, which guests can use completely free of charge. I’ve never felt so at home in a hotel room. I honestly didn’t want to leave!
