The acid test of any hotel is will we return? The answer is definitely yes.
+ . The suite was 120 sq.m…. huge. It included a kitchen (with hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine), a cloakroom, a huge lounge/dining room, bedroom, dressing area and bathroom with a walk-in shower. Most of the kitchen appliances looked as if they’d never been used. It also had a double width balcony with 4 easy chairs and small tables. One thing we did enjoy was that the hotel is on its own island in the middle of a crescent shaped marina. It was refreshing to be able to walk out of the hotel (over a bridge) and stroll around the marina which had lots of eateries and coffee shops, a pharmacy and even a couple of small supermarkets. This is unusual for Doha as, due to the heat, it’s often not always that friendly to pedestrians.
− We found that Zorba’s (Greek), Babel(Ledanese) and in-room dining were all excellent, although the half board menu was a little limited. During our stay the hotel was starting to do BBQ’s several nights a week at Bay View (Middle Eastern/International). My wife is a vegetarian so we only tried this once.
