The apartment needs better maintenance

− The TV was not working, I had to request a change of bedding, the leg of a chair broke and I nearly fell, and basic toiletries were not provided until I asked for them. Overall, the room did not seem ready for occupancy, as I had to contact the staff repeatedly to address one issue after another. The apartment needs better maintenance and more thorough preparation before guests arrive. With proper upkeep and attention to these basic requirements, this could have been a much more satisfactory stay.

− Could've done with abit more of a deep clean in the bathroom, they add on x2 the amount stated on booking.com with tax and service charges so ended up paying double was not clear when booked property, lifts in the building take a very long time

− They charged extra for things that were not explained before. Almost $50 more. BE AWARE.

+ The Luxe is exceptionally well located, with a mall, local food joints, and MRT stations all within easy reach, making it convenient to explore the city. The view, especially from the infinity pool, is amazing! The room was a decent size, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly during check-in. Overall, a great stay with excellent customer service and excellent value for money.

− The only downside was that the room wasn’t cleaned during our stay, which was a little unusual. Thankfully, the washing machine came in handy, so we managed on our own. The swimming pool can also get quite crowded, especially given the hotel’s 40-storey, high-density setup. That said, overall, it’s a great place to stay—convenient, comfortable, and with fantastic amenities.

Misleading listing with missing facilities that made the stay disappointing.

+ The location was convenient, and the owner was polite and responsive to messages. The owner was polite and responded to messages, but simply apologizing is not enough when the advertised facilities are not provided. Requests for another microwave or an alternative solution were declined because they said none was available.

− Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I've experienced. The room description listed many facilities that were supposed to be included. As shown in the booking details, several amenities were not crossed out, meaning they were advertised as available. However, many of them were either missing or unusable. The issues we faced included: The stove was not working. The microwave/oven was unavailable. The owner admitted it was damaged by a previous guest, but no replacement or alternative was provided. The air conditioner was running but barely cooling. We were told to use Turbo mode, but it still wasn't sufficient. There was no socket near the bed, despite it being listed. No floor mat outside the bathroom until we repeatedly requested one. Several other advertised amenities were either missing or unavailable. What disappointed me the most was that these facilities were part of the room description, and I specifically booked this apartment expecting to use them. If an appliance is broken or unavailable, the listing should be updated instead of advertising features that guests cannot use. I paid a reasonable amount expecting the services described in the listing, but the property failed to deliver. I hope the management updates the listing to accurately reflect what is actually available so future guests are not misled. I cannot recommend this property based on my experience.
