− I got a half price deal for the room, which was great. The room was ok. The air con worked hard to keep the room barely cool. Bed was ok . Overall not a bad room.

I would say The Base Inn Hotel for medium budget stays. Once you get your bearings its good location
+ My 5th floor room was good / lift service Ok . staff fixed the wet room soap dispenser - liked the wet room too. Fresh towelling each day/ room cleaned daily efficiently - very good. Breakfast was Ok , but was in fact an option -> you had to walk along Soi 11/2 to a another/ hotel to redeem the voucher/ and get some omelette type breakfast or Thai food. I think the breakfast voucher value, elsewhere would charge 200bhat for what you get. Was a reasonable arrangement. Also was able to sun lounge/ swim on the 8th floor of adjacent Hotel 24/7 - Towels supplied, again using Hotel's voucher system - fair enough, it was good to have that option Also a couple of good laundries within 100m of the hotel + the 7/11 shop directly next to the Hotel was a plus ! Finally, all the staff were smiling and efficient. (The cleaner team lovely !) Access road easy to the beach/ shops/ Tree town market/ food etc...
− No balconies - was a bit noisy late at night with a street facing room. Hey, but that's Pattaya !!

Fair stay for the price
+ Good location. Staff helpful if need anything.
− In the standard double room. Room comes with no fridge. But I did ask for one and one was put in the next day. Slightly small room. No big mirror only a small one in the bathroom. Wet room the shower faces the toilet so everything gets soaked when having a shower.

Over priced very basic room i paid for a superior double

− Pool was shared between 3 Hotels couldn't get a sunbed only 5 available very poor if i had known it was a shared pool i would not have booked spoilt my holiday had to go to beach every day i will definitely not be returning 👎🏻 toilet rolls were on ration!!! had to constantly go to reception to ask

+ Good location, but their sign is impossible to see from the direction the one way street is going. It’s next to the 7-Eleven. Google Maps has the location correct. The cleaning staff did a good job every day.
− Bed was hard as usual, refrigerator did not work the first day but they replaced it and that was fine.
