Exceptional hospitality in a beautiful hotel – the phenomenal staff made our stay at the Taj Palace truly unforgettable.

+ Our stay at the Taj Palace was absolutely amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful, but what truly made our experience exceptional was the staff. The level of hospitality, kindness and genuine care we received throughout our stay was phenomenal. There are so many people who deserve a special mention: Anuj from Concierge, who was wonderful; Mustache and Ranjit at the pool, who looked after us brilliantly; Vinod at Orient Express; Rakesh, one of the managers; and the lovely Experience Manager, who made us feel incredibly welcome. A very special thank you also goes to the Head Chef and team at Orient Express and Capital Kitchen, who were exceptionally accommodating and went out of their way for us. Mykesh at Capital Kitchen was also absolutely lovely and made our visits there such a pleasure. What stood out was that the service never felt forced or transactional. People genuinely seemed to care that we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. That level of hospitality is what we will remember most.

− Honestly, there was very little not to like. We had a wonderful seven-night stay and were looked after exceptionally well. If anything could be improved, it would only be maintaining the incredibly high standard we experienced, because the staff have set the bar very high!

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome and looked after. A very special mention must go to Arpita and Khusboo at Reception, whose warmth, professionalism and attention to detail made such a wonderful first impression. They went above and beyond to make our family stay special, including arranging an upgrade to the highest floor, along with Club access, High Tea and evening cocktails. These thoughtful touches elevated our experience enormously. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday during our stay, and what the team arranged genuinely touched us. Kundan from Housekeeping deserves a very special mention. When we returned to our room, we were greeted with a beautiful birthday surprise — balloons, a delicious birthday cake and thoughtful room decorations. But the most memorable gesture was that the team had printed a beautiful photograph of us and placed it in a frame as a birthday present. It was such a personal and unexpected touch and is something we will actually take home and keep as a memory of our stay. This is what exceptional hospitality is about. Luxury hotels can have beautiful rooms and impressive facilities, but it is the people and the thoughtful little details that make you remember a hotel long after you have left. The experience throughout the property was equally impressive. The food was excellent, and our meals at Capital Kitchen were top-notch. The quality, presentation, variety and service were wonderful. Every member of staff we encountered was courteous, attentive and genuinely interested in making sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, elegant and extremely well maintained, but the biggest asset of Taj Palace is undoubtedly its people.

+ The hotel made a positive impression, particularly because of its convenient location, modern infrastructure, and comfortable accommodation. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, making it suitable for both short and extended stays. I particularly appreciated the cleanliness, comfortable bed, good-quality bedding, and the availability of all the necessary amenities. The hotel also offers good facilities, including the restaurant and well-maintained common areas, which make it convenient to combine a hotel stay with business meetings and work. I would also like to acknowledge those members of staff who demonstrated professionalism, courtesy, and a genuine willingness to assist. Many everyday requests were handled promptly and efficiently. Overall, the hotel has many strong points: a convenient location, good infrastructure, comfortable rooms, and significant potential to provide a high standard of hospitality. For this reason, it is particularly important that the quality of service and staff conduct consistently reflect the overall standard and reputation of the hotel.

− Unfortunately, the conduct of two hotel employees left an extremely negative impression and significantly affected my overall experience during my stay. During my stay, I encountered behavior from these two employees that I considered inappropriate, unprofessional, and unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. Their manner of communication and the way they handled the situation caused me considerable discomfort and, in my view, demonstrated a lack of proper respect toward a guest and professional conduct. I have already submitted a formal complaint regarding this incident to the hotel management. The full and correct names of both employees, together with their official positions, will be provided separately in my formal complaint to the management and, if necessary, to the relevant higher authorities. I would like to emphasize that my complaint specifically concerns the conduct of these two individuals and should not be interpreted as criticism of the entire hotel staff. I also had positive interactions with other members of the hotel team during my stay. I sincerely hope that the hotel management will conduct a thorough and impartial investigation into the incident and take appropriate measures to ensure that other guests do not experience a similar situation in the future.

Excellent ambience. Great food and very welcoming staff.

+ Breakfast was really yummy. They offered an excellent spread, with lots of choices. Rooms were really comfy and cosy. My toddler enjoyed it a lot. The buffet dinner had plenty of options, and each dish was delicious.

− We liked everything. I was sad I didn't have my swimsuit. The swimming pool water was really tempting.
