+ The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, quite clean for Istanbul. The cleaning lady came during our stay and arranged everything. The location is excellent, right there is Kapali Carsija, 7-8 minutes away. walks. next to the hotel is the Food street, where you can conveniently have breakfast or lunch. It is well connected with other parts of the city. With the T1 tram, we arrived at all destinations quickly. You can walk to Hagia Sophia and Topkapi, 15-20 min. walking.

− The reception is messy, too closed and dark from the outside. The room looked into the factory where people cut jackets and wardrobe until late in the evening. The street is dirty. Lots of junk and cats.

+ Everything is exceptionally clean, with good shampoo and shower gel. The conditioner worked perfectly. There is a terrace on the fifth floor where you can smoke or drink beer while admiring the sea and the landscape. Pleasant staff.

− There was a power outage in the room. When I turned on the hair dryer, the lights in the bathroom would go out when I turned it up or down. The kettle in the room didn't work either, but the staff kindly heated water for us. There aren't many electrical outlets to charge phones and other devices.

− After getting scammed by the taxi services in Turkey I decided to book VIA the hotel as I received a message from Booking.com (I thought I would be protected from any trickery). I have paid 1300TL at the hotel then asked for ANOTHER 1300TL at the airport- even though we asked for no tolls. The whole trip should be around 1300-1500TL maximum to the airport. I thought booking from the hotel would protect me from scamming but thank you turkey for being the most dishonest country I have ever visited.

+ The facilities were new, the host was very accommodating with whatever we needed. We loved the rooftop area, the view there was great.

− The elevator is extremely slow and the stair were a little dangerous to maneuver as it is quite a bit of a curve with And rail on one side. Sometimes the water was difficult to adjust to a comfortable level. Lower rooms were sometimes cold only or hot only. But all the rooms seem to be a little hard to find a comfortable temperature being either too cold or too hot. More towel holders would be good.
