− Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The hotel presents itself as a 5-star property, but the actual condition of the hotel, the level of service and the facilities provided were far from what we expected from a hotel of this category. Let me start with the overall condition of the property. It is obvious that the hotel is in serious need of renovation. The walls are peeling in several places, the furniture is old and worn, and the curtains were dirty and clearly needed to be replaced. There were also plumbing issues in the bathroom, and the general condition of the room gave a strong impression of being neglected. Some areas appeared to have signs of possible mould. The television was practically useless, with only a few channels available. When we checked in, we were told that our room had been upgraded. However, when we entered the room, it was dusty and dirty, the curtains were dirty, and we found cockroaches and other insects. We reported the issue at reception and were shown another room. Considering the circumstances, we accepted it. We were asked to wait 40 minutes while the room was prepared. In reality, we waited about an hour. Unfortunately, when we returned, almost nothing had changed apart from two towels being provided. Housekeeping was another major issue. Cleaning did not seem to happen unless we called and specifically requested it. During our stay, we repeatedly had to contact reception to ask for additional towels and bathrobes. Even then, the service was not provided consistently or promptly. The bed and pillows were particularly disappointing. The pillows were extremely low quality, very old and uncomfortable. After sleeping on them, we experienced headaches and neck discomfort. For a hotel presented as 5-star, the quality of the bedding was simply unacceptable. The lighting in the room was also very poor. The room was large, but it was equipped with only a few small lamps, leaving the entire room quite dark.
