Cheap bed

+ Good location and comfortable beds

− We booked an 8-bed dorm but it was actually a very cramped 14-bed dorm. Furthermore there was only one bathroom for the whole dorm, as well as a double that also shared this one bathroom. The dorm constantly smelled like smoke. Staff was not welcoming, not friendly, and made the whole experience uncomfortable.

+ Staff is nice overall, the location is very good, itself the rooms are nice and beds are comfortable

− The place is extremely crowded, there is around 28 people when is full capacity and the kitchen is tiny for all of those, many people are living there so they think they own the place, doing noise until 2 am, slamming doors and total lack of respect for the rest of users, bathroom are quite dirty, I even saw cockroaches, there is also a lot of mosquitoes and they bited me, also always someone smoking outside and the kitchen smelling like tobacco, my advice to the manager or owner is to maybe quit two beds from each floor, make a more clear separation between beds, maybe even turning it into a capsule hotel, renovation of the bathrooms and separating one room for long term guests and refugees and another one for tourists and backpackers

Excellent, modern & clean

+ A modern, welcoming & spotlessly clean hostel. Everything looks and feels new. Although there are a lot of beds, the dorm space is very well designed so does not feel cramped at all. Each bed has a charger point with a quality reading light, and complete blackout curtains (although they're less effective for upper beds and one guest was working at the desk in the dorm until very very late which wasn't ideal, that's not the hostel's fault), white cotton linens (and towel provided), a very comfortable & supportive mattress and a good pillow. Even disposable hotel slippers are provided! The kitchen is simple but effective & has most things you'd need to cook a good meal, and offers free tea. Washing machine is also free to use. Check in was fast, friendly, and set the tone for a good stay.

− Only 3 bathrooms in the building, for quite a lot of beds. That said, the downstairs one always seemed to be available.

Great value, comfy beds

+ Great location, very comfy beds, pretty clean place. Very good value for money in batumi.

− Entrance area is also the common room, and can get bit crowded.

Best hostel of Batumi

+ I tried a few hostels in Batumi but this one is definitely the best. The beds are comfortable and the room is big and setup of the beds give a sense of privacy. It is clean and there is lockers. The location is perfect. I especially want to mention the staff that is extremely helpful and kind.

− I liked everything. I wish i would have had time to stay longer.

A true hostel, in all the best ways

+ The vibes were so good! The space was set up well for hanging out. There were good curtains around every bed, a nice kitchen, and most importantly, a very social atmosphere. Free laundry is great! Good location walking distance to the beach.

− The lockers could be bigger, but they were sufficient for holding valuables. They don’t detract from how great everything else was.

+ The bunks all have privacy curtains which is much appreciated, as well as an individual lamp and power point. The owner was very helpful and the kitchen is fairly well equipped. There is air conditioning in the dorm room and a lovely balcony.

− Whilst the listing advertises one 6 bed and one 8 bed dorm, in reality is one 14 bed dorm that takes up the entire floor. There are different sections so it didn't feel overly crowded, but good to be aware of if you want to stay in a smaller room. Also we did not stay in the private room, but you have to enter the private room through the dorm. Only one bathroom per floor so it can get a bit busy at times. A mix of travellers and people who seem to be staying long-term
