Lovely staff and location
+ Great location and a smart looking hotel. Good overall facilities for the price range. Had a nice room although small, with a balcony. The shower was powerful but did leak making the floor wet. The room was a little outdated and dilapidated with wallpaper peeling. The WiFi was strong but no TV as waiting for system updates. The staff were lovely and tried their best to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was small but tasty especially the bread, honey and cheese. Coffee and tea was strong. There was a small outside place to sit which was shady and warm in the sun. Lovely mornings.
− It’s a shame to moan because the staff were lovely and did try their best but only three staff meant sometimes it wasn’t consistent. Particularly the young girl who cleaned the rooms, I think she needs some help because she was too busy to clean our room more often than not. Generally rooms are cleaned in the mornings in a hotel or whilst guests are out at the beach, but we had to ask many times over the course of two weeks for cleaning, and were told she was too busy and couldn’t clean till 5/6 pm when we would usually be coming in from the beach wanting a shower. This wasn’t possible as either the room wasn’t cleaned or there were no towels - many times we didn’t have towels as they were not dry and I was told once not to ask for them in the evening. It was frustrating especially as the shower was leaking, the floor mat got sodden with water and the toilet seat lid did not stay up. A few tweaks in consistency of when the rooms are cleaned and regular checking guests needs like emptying bins and replacing towels would make this a better stay.
